This simple thought has driven my life since my first listen. Circa 1986. I have the cassette. The CD. the nightingale cognant course on cassette. I gave it to my children in their youth. 1st goal setting. Then the key is action. Take action. Throw in some review. Take new action, or repeat successful action. Set more goals. Please check your video, you have 99,999 where you likely wanted 90,000 less. Excellent effort! Loved it. Posted it.

Thank you, @evancarmichael, for another great video from one of my heroes! I first heard about Earl Nightingale in the early 2000s and followed his work for some time. As seasons of life change, so did the sources of my personal growth, and oddly enough, it took the recent pandemic to reunite me with Earl. His calm, encouraging, enthusiastic, timeless wisdom helped me significantly during our two-month nationwide lockdown. I would listen to Earl every morning during my workouts at my apartment, and it really helped me maintain hope and perspective during a dark time. My biggest takeaway is that as I listened to your version of his classic 'The Strangest Secret,' he validated my "one word" for 2024. He talked about the need to set goals and how critical it is to avoid getting bogged down in the how. Oddly enough, my one-word concept for 2024 is "What Not How." He was a brilliant man who made a significant impact on my life, and I love that you connected and shared his sweet wife, Diana, with us. #Believe

This is so good. I love that he includes the Scripture. I will be doing the 30-day challenge, adding to my '90-Day Brain Training for A Deeper Walk with Christ - Believing God for More!!' that I am currently doing. I have already written down my goals, but will put my main goal on the cue card and do the challenge. The cue card principle is one I use for something else, so this is merging the two. Love it.

I want to get my school loans out of default, apply for grants and scholarships, and go back to school for behavioral health, get a BHT certificate, and then go on to recieve my diploma for my associates in the arts, and then get my bachelors, and become a skilled social worker in advocacy for vulnerable populations. I want to make $45k a year. I want a good work life balance. I want to connect with my son, and learn to accept my partners faults and appreciate his good qualities. I want to feel loved and feel worthy and accept myself and see and appreciate my strengths, and learn to handle my short comings better.

I want to get to work early and prepared for every shift, and complete all of my responsibilities, and do at least one extra task that isn't required, every shift. I want to practice grounding every day twice a day for 20 minutes, and not take things personally or assume the worst in my interactions with anyone, loved ones, friends, strangers. I want to assume the best and also still protect my energy and enforce my boundaries. I want to manage my own emotions effectively, and eat foods that nourish and strengthen my body mind. I want to stay focused on addressing problems in my life, and make progress on atleast one significant issue, for at least two hours, every day.
