@@doupard nah you're right, out of that list only MIKE was in the actual sLUms group, but when you hear anyone refer to either the sLUms network or sLUms movement, they mean the group of artists that were birthed around the group - as in artists like Siifu or Maxo in the same sense that Vince Staples, Steve Lacy and the members of The Internet not named Syd or Matt Martians were all a part of the Odd Future movement, whilst not actually being a part of Odd Future itself

Backbone of what lol he was gone for the 2 years that they took over the world. Even tho i think tyler is an average rapper i’ll NEVER discredit the work he put in to turn that brand into a million dollar empire. The vlogs, the interviews. the t shirts, the humour. As good as earl was. The Free earl campaign (tylers idea) was more popular than earls music at the time. Anyway i havnt even likes either of their music for 10 years but as someone who really came of age in the early to mid 2010’s, i’ll never let tylers influence be disrespected

You’re tripping every decade has a massive influential group of rappers. Late 1980s: NWA had multiple successful breakout rappers. Mid 1990s: Wu-Tang Clan, and they still completely sell out live shows. Even G-Unit in the 2000s. I never bought into the OF collective hype but really loved Frank and Earl’s music from the jump. Tyler’s first three projects were cringey and too set on shock value compared to his later works.
