TBH Treat You Better is such a creepy song. Some drooling guy hovering over a poor girl in a relationship he thinks he knows more about. This really works as a mashup (excellent job btw) bc it's like Ed is in a relationship that's been a little rocky recently and he's trying to spice things up and remind her of how they met, and Shawn is the guy she keeps complaining to when she and Ed fight, and he's the same guy who then starts expecting her to leave her boyfriend for him because he can supposedly 'treat her better'. I get that TYB is meant to be sweet but it comes off as really 'Nice Guy'-ish and i very much sympathise with the poor gal he's hoverin like a hawk over (i mean that figuratively, he may not singing the song about an actual girl since it is just a song after all).
