My favorite feature of the air support in CoH3 is that when they crash, they no longer deal damage to ground forces. That was the most frustrating RNG moment in CoH2 when you lose units to a kamikaze plane who may even be from your faction

So more realism sacrificed to make the game more action-like, fast paced, and easy to get in for new players.

Eh, I'm 50/50 of the change. I kinda wished they didn't fully remove it, instead giving it a model cap of like 3 or so or maybe lowering the damage. It's still BS that rng screwed you over and killed a bunch of men with a single crash, but at least they won't wipe the squad unless the squad was outright dying already. It's dumb to get lucky when a bombing run successfully hits a target and the plane also becomes another squad wiping bomb itself.

Replays can be annoying to pull up and a lot of people I play with prefer CoH2 over CoH3. That said, expect to see more content around CoH3 as the patch launches and a proper replay mode is added.

I see the same bulls*it as coh2, germans are nerfed comparing to allies. Chafee vs panzer 4 and m24 wins xD

I think it degraded. One instance is the repair bug that in coh2 only existed in the form of crew auto repair

“Germany Suffers”, except they don’t. They are the easiest faction to play.

@@andycutecumber2603British in CoH3 are the easiest to play mechanically. Wehr, DAK, and USF doesnt have straight forward tech progression. Even then, the British are hard to efficiently play as due to their roster lineup.

True, I’m glad that they are much more viable now than in the past two games. It was a struggle to play them in CoH2 in solo matches especially.
