Loving the series Kev I've just started a non-league to legend my nearest team is Dover so far was seventh in the league one to last one pretty steady start I think keep up the great work love it

At least the early Plymouth tie will eradicate the usual early non-league financial troubles. Bold moves in the transfer market early on, but before these matches I'm still sure you'll be top 7, Ted Moulden has been a star for me too!👍

Bolton fan here 👋🏽 Adam Senior doesn’t feature much for the first team, generally plays in the now Papa John’s Trophy but played a few times last season when the squad was on its knees and has impressed when he has featured. Definitely better than the National League North

I do agree about Targetman in 1 attacker formations, if you have a False 9 or supporting forward it can be quite nice. But im with you on that 4-2-3-1, excellent tactic. I tweaked it abit and put 2 DMC and changed the offensive mid to attacker, it rips opponent midfields apart both in counter attack and possesive play.

Football Manager needs a Colour Blind Mode adding to it for people like Kev who have issues with the Red/Green Stuff. So many games have it as an Accessibility option, I’m surprised this one doesn’t.

Senior was my star man and captain at Chester in fm20, we went up to league 1 after I signed him on a free in my 2nd season and if memory serves correct i think he retired with the club (long after I'd moved on), cracking lower league player really solid at the back in last years game

On the subject of getting promoted too soon, in my own current FM save I had to sabotage my season. Half way through we were top of League One. We were in the NL South four seasons ago. Sometimes FM is just too easy. The Play-off final was fun though. We lost 4-3 with our star striker scoring a hat-trick. He finished with 36 goals in 36 games.

I started a Kettering save to play along with you, and I understand why you brought in so many players. The original squad is SLOW! Like you, I’ve tried to bin off old guys and bring in youngsters with pace. Hunt got hurt in my save too (scripted injuries?). I’m trying the 3-striker formation that the AI suggested at the beginning, and it’s working so far in friendlies. Sheriff is banging them in as our center striker.

I tried a Kettering save in the Beta! ...Got stuck in the January transfer window reloading over and over trying to sell a player when he didn't want to leave. Lorne Bickley - £400 a week apparently! He was murdering my wage budget and crippling my ability to make transfers but he just wouldn't go! Trying Lincoln instead now

I usually load all the British leagues and some nearby European ones to begin with and then add more as I removed Wales, etc as the reputation grows

Just Google for Logo Packs and you’ll find a zip file with directory instructions (generally it’s a folder somewhere in your documents called sports interactive) that give you the right logo. You can do the same for Kits and Facepacks so everything looks more ‘licensed’

I’m new to the game, first year buying it, played the beta for awhile but a bug started to make it unplayable. basically the screen wasn’t fitting inside my computer screen. The mouse was not calibrating. As I said it’s unplayable and it’s a shame becuase I’ve been looking forward to playing this game. None of the solutions online work that I’ve tried. Anyone else have this issue or does anyone have any ideas on hot to fix it?

It is not Hajduk Split, it is Split. Split plays in Croatian 3rd division, Hajduk Split plays in 1st division and in the Europa league.

Honest Question - Are people finding FM21 a tad easy? It seems lower leagues, with free transfers etc and a simple tactic, it's easier to get promoted. Wish they could make the game more challenging. P.S Love the series, keep it up!
