Showcasing my Early Hundred Years War armies. Approximately 800+ miniatures deployed on my table mostly from Claymore Castings and few from 1st Corps. Still I did not deploy me old Essex - Wargames Foundry and Black Tree Design that I use with the ones on this video. That would have probably meant another 100 miniatures.
The Armies I am showcasing today are :
1. French (Poitiers Project)
2. Scottish (Neville's Cross Project)
3. English ( Poitiers and Neville's Cross Project)

Simply stunning. Admiring a beautifully painted model is one thing, but seeing huge entire armies arrayed in all their splendour like this has a beauty of its own and is what wargaming is all about for me...a real visual feast!

As for personalities, I have painted French counts de Lisle-Adam, de la Marche, and, in fact, the Duke of Touraine, Berry and Poitiers Dauphin Charles VII in 1/72 scale. Also Edward III flaunts on the shelf

That is one awesome amount of miniatures for the HYW! That is going to be one heck of a battlefield of a game. What manufactures did you use for the miniatures? Have a great day

Thank you dear Rusty! Yes this is the next step although I need to find time to play such a big battle as it will take time regardless if the rules I use..90% of the miniatures are from Claymore castings and the remaining from 1st Corps. Have a great day too my friend!

These are great minis but check claymore as well!I think Claymore are the best for early HYW and Perry the best for the later part of the war.

How do you do! Excuse me for curious question, but could you answer hou much does all collection from 800 miniatures cost? And also these miniatures are from Perry Miniatures, aren't they?

Hi Petr! Well I can’t remember exactly but because these armies where build in a period of 4-5 years the financial burden was not an issue. Obviously if you want to build armies of that size in a few months the cost is high considering the minis cost. No these are all from Claymore Castings except some of the commands that are from 1st Corps and the baggage are from Perry.

Thank you my friend! Well miniature war gaming is a very popular hobby. You can find many channels here in KZfaq and groups in FB that you can join and understand how things work..in simple terms there are many armies from different periods of history you can purchase and paint or commission one of the many painters who provide services to do it for you. Then If you are interested in fighting /playing a battle there are many rules out there you can use and enjoy your miniatures. Again you can make or buy your own terrain many manufacturers out there as well..just follow some channels in here and groups in FB and you will understand how it works.
