Love how you get to look at a kit and get a history lesson too. If you ever did like a small roman skirmish with loads of contextual info around the units and tactics, I'd be hooked.

Nice review - cool kit👍. JB should be able to sort out those pesky Celts now 😀. Love the quick tour of the Roman empire as well.

Been thinking about the Roman Empire a lot as well. Edit: Jonny, if u haven't and interested in Caesar watch HBO's Rome. Took a while for Victrix to release this set, I bought the (back then new) moulded Victrix early imperial Romans, great models and a joy to paint in all their detailed glory, I expected this set to come out about the same time, Victrix's Celtic chariots are a beauty as well.

I did enjoy the Rome series, problems with information retention however means I can't recall a damn thing.... That's the one with Titus Pullo and the ginger dude right? Verenus?
