Can’t wait to see some mileage figures on that 3.5 Powerboost model. We were going to buy a luxury SUV this year but that was put on hold when I read an article about this pickup.

Just make sure you can afford the depreciation hit and the interest payments on the 72 month loan youl have to get to be able to afford it. 😂

Carter Thiel / XDomGaming1FTW just an FYI also.... the Ford Platinums and Limited models actually hold their values substantially better than luxury suvs in the same price brackets. $80,000 F150’s have a higher residual after a 3 year lease than an $80,000 BMW X5 or Audi Q7.

Carter Thiel / XDomGaming1FTW I also just sold my 2005 F350 Harley Edition for $20,000.00. You’d never sell a $63,000 Beamer for $20,000 after 15 years of driving. Lol

@@beri232 diesel vehicles do always hold value however a ~60k depreciation, although better, is still not great.

Could not get the upper glove box open. The button was to the left. Looks like you almost pushed the button after you tried pushing on the door.

Honestly nothing wrong with having higher trims but why would you want a pickup truck for luxury? Its the same with the Hummer, they're utility vehicles. I feel that's hypocritical to say because how many people actually haul or tow with their truck? But it feels those people would still do it luxury or not while the rich who want them to feel fancy will scoff at that idea, or get the FX4 offroad package while they live parts of the US that's sunny 24/7. If you want luxury you get a sedan or SUV not a pickup. But Ford really overthought that folding shifter to make room, there's something called a column shifter you know?

It's looks, nobody needs one. Nobody needs a luxury vehicle using that logic either. I like luxury pickups because anything higher end depreciates like a rock so in 10 years I'll be able to live like a king for 15 grand.

Carter Thiel / XDomGaming1FTW I wouldn’t really get a vehicle brand new unless maybe MAYBE it was a custom order. I’ll get used because it already lost its initial value. But if you look at the inflation rate on pickup trucks it’s crazy. I mean just look at old commercials and their prices. Even on the luxury stuff they are still way more affordable than the ones today.

That's what people said about EcoBoost V6's. So we'll see! It's not meant purely for economy. More and more pickups are now just daily family vehicles that can multi-purpose and have ability tow loads when needed. So what trucks are meant to be as a whole seems to have shifted significantly. Otherwise they should all be regular cab long beds with minimal frills all around

First 20 seconds of the video shows the outside, then right inside to the Tech. No word, or image of the giant chasm between the headlights and grill, Where the hell does it go! Car reviewers, there is a vehicle surrounding the infotainment screens.

This was intended to just show a quick walkaround and live viewing, rather than be a comprehensive review as we didn't get to drive it and had pretty limited time with the car. @@Carsplain Thanks for responding, and in a constructive way. I apologize for my rudeness. I had a bad morning, which is no excuse. That said, I've been a bit frustrated with car reviews. Most appear to have little understand of the mechanical side of cars. I've only seen Savagegeece point out the negatives of Direct Injection and Forced Induction on engine reliability & longevity. You reviewers influence how cars are made now. I think that's pretty important. Thanks for what you do.
