People are gonna say it's for kids true but my sister 9 year old sister who is the main Target demographic for this film hates it stating they had ruin him!

For an early concept, his design here doesn't look too bad to me. In fact, his design looks better than I expected. I hope the final design ends up being close to that.

I think what u mean Sam is Hedgehogs don't have fur on their quills, BUT they have fur on their underbelly obviously lol. That's why they roll into a ball when threatened, to protect underneath them by exposing their quills

Personally, I find the concept art to be decent, but if Sega is going for a modern Sonic design, which it looks like they are, then Sonic shouldn't be THICC or MUSCCULARR.

Hollywood does not understand that taking Videogames and taking them to the real world just to draw in gamers but ultimately appeal to normies is not the way. I´d rather have a good fantasy story rather than a shallow "adult" story. I think the best version of the sonic story is the japanese original sonic x (except Chris. Fuck Chris). The story of Shadow alone and his ties with Eggmans grandfather are just great and memorable. It was just writers wanting to write a story. There was so much feeling to it, feelings that can´t be conveyed with celebrities, overdone jokes and half and half visuals. Detective Pikachu is crazy enough that it just might work but this is just monsterous. They have to realize that not every non rl series is The Simpsons or Dora the explorer.

The movie should have just been animated. I would have really loved to see how well the Sonic movie would look if it had the same sort of animation as something like The Peanuts Movie, Captain Underpants, and the Spider-Verse movie, where it looks like it's hand drawn, but it's CGI. And Sonic shouldn't be teaming up with a cop. He should be running from the cops, while chasing Robotnik around the entire world. Also, Tails, Knuckles, and I will say Snively should be in it. Yes. Snively.

Why couldn't they do an actual 3D animated Sonic movie like Sonic Unleashed? Say what you want about that game, but the way it looked in HD, especialy the cutescenes were great. This looks like it didn't even try. :/

This Movie has grown now to RiffTrax/MST3K material by 2020. SEGA is clearly ashame of this, and Sonic's creators dislike it. But it united the Classic and Modern Fans for once, truly a Christmas Miracle.

I’m from the future, and let me tell you that sonic in Late 2019 has had a complete redesign, I mean technically after the design in this video, he got a second design, which let me tell you, it was the Worst monstrosity ever created, so the fans backlashes, and your Not gonna believe me when I say this, but Universal actually listened to the fans for the first time in history, and sonic got a brand new redesign, And it looks amazing! I love the future! 🥰

Personally, I really like it. Is it the best? No. But, the eyes look fine, the shoes are cool, his mouth is eh, and his proportions are right. He also looks really small, like he's supposed to be. If the arms were tan then this would be perfect. (Talking about the leak with Chris Pratt by the way)

Personally I like the new design a lot

I was holding back laughter when Planet wisp cut out with that second poster. Aside from that, I was actually really upset at the end of the video; Sonic Unleashed theme, the creators of Sonic and acknowledging how difficult being a fan of this series can be. I've been following the series close on to 14 years now starting with Heroes when I was Five, so reflecting on the series history briefly and acknowledging how much of a slap in the face this is to the creators, fans general audience and series as a whole just struck a chord with me. Still hoping things will look up but yeah, believing in Sonic is certainly a test of faith and patience these days. Thanks for the video nonetheless and good luck with the remainder of your exams.
