The dress uniforms in TOS showed military decorations not the delta emblem. These were the equivalent to modern ribbons or medals in modern military uniforms.

I have a couple of fun facts: The screen cap you used had Spock in his uniform from the un-aired pilot episode. That episode was actually filmed in black and white originally and parts of it were colourized for use in the later episodes when pike was all messed up. I have always wondered if Spock was wearing a different color in reality, like in the pilot redo. Also, the Delta's on the dress uniforms aren't actually delta's, they are officer specific commendations. Like medals on a soliders dress uniform. Kirk had his arranged in kind of a maple leaf structure, a stealthy nod to his homeland.

Congratulations on being able to review the new line. Well deserved and your thoughts on if they are worth it will be valued !! I don't understand what went wrong with that Pike figure; it's one of their weakest efforts. The face looks like a toy soldier in a Trek uniform. All the more strange because they nailed the face on the larger Pike figures. He has great accessories from The Cage too which look ridiculous with the short hands on figure. I'm sure Playmates will make Anson Mount Pike in the new line first, but this desperately needs a redo, arguably the most disappointing. The Galileo shuttle set is nice, and worth you picking up; it's very small but a lot of great detail inside. It's funny because I think the box cites it's a "Where No Man Has Gone Before" set; just Kirk was from the episode of course, and I realized the canon included is from "The Cage" when they try to blast the Talosian cave.

Hello Keith and Mike thanks for another great figure review video. Keith when Mike beamed back was he replaced with Mike from the parallel universe, he is so mean. I'm not sure but the Green casual uniform was first scene in the episode when the transporter split Kirk into the good and evil Kirks. I think they made a different uniform so we could tell the good Kirk and bad Kirk apart. I got the Kirk and shuttle pack on eBay years ago for my collection. Did you guys know that Spock's skin color was going to be red but they changed his skin color to green because red would show up as black on black and white TV's. And in the 1960's that wouldn't fly on TV networks unfortunately. Thanks for the look at original series Kirk and Spock figures, I have all of these great figures myself. I dont wanna be that guy, but if we are going by technicalities, I think Spock had the most different actors play as Spock. Leonard Nimoy of course, then in Star Trek III they had at least 2 or 3 different actors play Spock at different ages as Planet Genesis became a planet and quickly destroyed itself. Then the actor who played him in the Kelvin movies and now the DISCO/SNW era Spock.

To be fair the picture that Keith chose is a scene where Kirk is in severe pain, He's not trying to be casual, he trying to not show how much pain he's in. Yes your correct about Kirk coming with the Shuttle, was the only exclusive pack like that. So the character being played by the most speaking actors is not Pike, Pike has 3 (4 if you include the nonspeaking), Spock has 4 (including child version, 5 if you include baby spock), Kirk has 4 (Includ Child), Sarek has had 4, Picard has also had 4 (if you include his clone). So it's actually a tie from what I can tell.

the new playmates Star Trek figures suck , they dont hold a candle to the original playmates Star Trek figures.. whoever was in charge of the new playmates figures should be fired ..
