Early Subud Congresses

The video was 'found' at the Subud Britain THANKYOU Celebration 2007. It shows Coombe Springs, England, and Wolfsburg (?) Germany, Jakarta (?) Indonesia, and Sydney (?) Australia. If you have further info on this footage, please let channel18 know so we can positively ID the locations.
The contemporary music is by Subud Lewes (UK) member Auguste Caffrey.

Ta about 3:10 starts some footage from the 1971 Subud World Congress in Wisma Subud (in CIlandak then, now part of Jakarta proper. (I was there; recognize the places.)

The last photo is the waterfront of Toronto Canada. It is surreal to watch this video knowing very few people in this world have any idea of the enormity of Bapaks passing thru this realm. He came and went without the world taking much notice of his pious and humble gift to mankind. I have come to realize what Bapak had eluciated to in his talks. That the age of simply believing in God is over. The age knowing has begun. Mashallah

Looks like Bapak's trip to England and Coombe Springs, then later the 1971 congress in Cilandak, then Germany in 1975 and lastly Canada in 1979.

Was the CIA involved with the cult? Before you say no, you should think about everything that we now know. There seems to be quite a number of well dressed and well connected Westerner in the group.

If you knew the history of Subud that wouldn't surprise you. Only the first [non-]congress is identified, which was Bapak's first visit to western Europe (Coombe Springs in UK) in 1957. I'm not sure whether the rest of the footage included anything from the actual First Subud World Congress, at Coombe Springs in 1959, or the Second at Briarcliff College in NY state in 1963. I recognized the first color filming which was from the Fourth, in Cilandak (suburb of Jakarta) in 1971; I was there.
