Tell them the truth. It's not easy as it you're presenting it. There are many steps involved. Writing articles haphazardly doesn't work at all. First, you've to create quality content and get decent amount of traffic to get monitezed by Google Adsense. Then you've to apply for Google News. And remember, you are not guaranteed that articles will even appear on Google News or they will rank in the platform. It requires proper planning, skills, and great execution. Not just copying and pasting articles.
