We did this last year as a family of 4. I did not even eat the snacks and don’t drink. We had a blast and no hot sun. It was very memorable and had never done a wdw waterpark. The waves at the wave pool are amazing. I would recommend, as a luxury, at the end of the evening either bringing your own car or ride service. The wdw bus will take you to Disney springs, and being soaking wet on an packed ac’d bus is fine but not ideal. We minivaned it, and found it was totally worth it the extra expense that late at night.

Hi Rob! As a person who the sun hates (awful, painful rash) I would NEVER go to a water park during the day. I’m going to the H2O glow night in September and think it will be worth the price- the evening hours make it accessible for me! Thanks for this video, now I know how dark the rides will be

We went in March and I got the idea from your video of sleeping in on a magic kingdom day, you were at the water park. We wouldn’t have thought about the water parks. We have been 7 other times and never tried the water parks. It was a great way to relax before the park! Thank you for sharing another great experience 😀 💜

Rob I have been watching you guys for over a year now and I love all your videos. I send all my friends and acquaintances to your videos to help them plan for trips to Disney. I have a couple ideas for future topics if you are taking suggestions. For those newbies maybe a video on transportation options. How to do the Transportation Center, gondolas etc. You do such a good job simplifying things and explaining best strategies I know you'd rock that. Also, maybe your best tips to make security a breeze. Thanks again for being awesome at helping people enjoy Disney.

I’ve never been to this event - thanks for all of the info! Looks like it might be worth it for those of us who don’t want to bake in the sun… though the idea of a pitch black slide freaks me out!! I actually worked a similar event while I was a Typhoon Lagoon CM. It was… interesting lol the guests were all having a great time, but I do remember a lot of intoxicated people lol I will say, I miss Typhoon Lagoon desperately! This video made me smile to see the familiar sights ❤️

Awesome video. Always wondered what Typhoon Lagoon was all about. I'd be interested in a video about the Aulani resort if you ever find the time. Last time I was there was opening year for my honeymoon.

We just went for the second time a week ago and had a great time. Disney has definitely cut back on the event. Our first time going, we received glow bracelets that fit the theming instead of basic plastic cups. They also had character meet and greets with a photo pass photographer, which I did not see at this year's event. Overall, it was still a lot of fun and given how hot it has been, even at night, I was happy we were not there during the day.

We only live two hours away so we’re deciding on going for the day or doing the special event. I appreciate it. I assume the wait times for the water rides are significantly less during these events.

I loved typhoon lagoon! It was fun after a week off the fantasy ship! We were heading back home the next day. Our 4 year old and 14 year old loved typhoon lagoon and their beach party! I believe this was the day I saw you all with my 14 year old and said Hi 👋🏽

Thanks for doing this video! Our family is going in August and we have never been to Typhoon Lagoon! My husband is very fair skinned, so we thought this was the best option for a trip to the water park so he doesn’t turn into a lobster 😂

Are you going to review the epcot after hours party?

We were there last week June 3rd! We had so much fun with the dance party music and also enjoyed the snacks. We didn't even think to look around for food but the food you covered looks pretty good! Having this party in the evening with it being cool made it very enjoyable! I had such a great time and we're looking forward to doing this party again when we come back! Great coverage!

Do they still offer regular kiddie food at the party?

Haven’t seen video yet but was kind of disappointed it wasn’t about Epcot event. My plans for august are on hold based on initial reports I’ve seen on the Epcot after hours . I’ve been so looking forward to your take on Epcot event. I hope it’s coming soon🥰

I’m considering this event for our August trip but the storms at that time of year are concerning. You definitely wouldn’t get your moneys worth if there is a storm.

I've definitely drank more than one beer while floating in the pool in Daytona...with bartenders delivering them in the pool...so maybe an Orlando law?

Cabana bay let’s you take drinks into their pool with a lid so maybe that is a Disney “law”?
