LOL. The 40 wank is out in full force as ever. I mean, it's not like rounds from a gun that straight up is just an M2 Browning machine gun are not totally useless against Space Marines armor, meaning that a battleship shell would definitely turn a marine to mulch as it would a normal human or tank. XD

Space Marines routinely get mowed down in their own setting by autocannons roughly the same caliber as autocannons in WW2. Anti-tank rockets of the era, even light anti-tank rockets, would turn them jelly, just somewhat thicker jelly than a normal man.

Any anti-tank round larger than, say, 57mm from that era should at least take an Astartes out of action for the duration of the fight. 85mm plus should straight up kill on a clean hit...we're talking about something with 1000x as much kinetic energy as a .30 caliber rifle round. Artillery, any near hit by 150mm or larger should be disabling, and a top hit on that armored transport by the Karl Morser would render it inoperative for the duration of the fight(it's a 2 ton concrete piercing shell with 600+ pounds of TNT loaded in).

So a small force of space Marines can lose way more men than they had to by being 40k stupid and assaulting an entrenched position with lots of arty and tanks? You do realize that America produced something like 50,000 or so tanks during the war, right, and that most space marine chapters only have thousand Marines? But please, do go on about your cult of heavy infantry not suffering massive attrition against a planet going through a second major global conflict with heavy industrial output and mechanization.

ASV mods like Warhmmer 40k are not compatible with modern/cold era mods.

Evidentially not since I'm pretty the space Marines lost more than a squad assaulting this position, just like they would and should bring that dumb.
