She was meant to be a star. It is remarkable what happened the meeting of two great people on the streets of New York. It must have been a higher calling for that to happen between Ms. Kitt and Mr. Jose Ferrer. This is a wonderful series of Ms. Kitt life. Thanks for sharing.

Eartha is one of my role models. She went through so much in life but she never gave up. I used to be obsessed with her music and roles in 5th grade. She was a legend

A truly revealing moment of a truly unique artist. If one does not cry watching this disclosure one is not human. The shit performing artists go through. Blacklisting is a truly horrible dehumanizing experience. Especially when it is political and unwarranted in the face of a contribution that needed to be heard.

really are you serious?! Did you not hear what she said?! That was pure pain, and self-doubt, that explains how vulnerable, she was at that moment, and she just recalled that deep-wound in her soul?! Where's your humanity!? Compassion.👈🏾 Empathy.👈🏾 Sympathy. 👈🏿
