Believe me I'm happy to see the partsforming be gone, This would make a Much better Cliffjumper, and yeah that back hing in insane, why is it SOOOO damn hard to move. If something is going to break all it's clear plastic, it's that hing.

I mean those all sound very plausible, but I like to do these when pictures are available so people don't have to stare at my logo for too long. Too bad that a lot of main characters (ratchet, ironhide, seekers) are either exclusives or part of a two figure pack for absolutely no reason at all. So they are basically inaccessible for buyers outside of 1st world countries and just harder to get for 1st world people

Clear plastic doesn't tend to break from impact, but from the joints failing at the in so it just falls off.

I feel like really what needed to happen was just that they needed to clean up the actual Wheeljack figure. Redesign that so it's not so off, and it would have worked out great.

He does have more substantial heels than is normal, he can hold him self up quite well on those size 19s.

Yeah I don't know why so many people are giving that Cliffjumper a pass, I think it's literally just that they like the fact that it's not coming as a bumblebee first.

I was going to point out something similar in my retrospective, and I'd say me liking is a strong word. My feelings towards it have softened, while everyone else has hardened.

Personally I don't try to nose breathe while wearing a mask, I go full mouth breather. I do get that, it's just silly to have the fake wheels I think. Them turning this into gold bug makes too much sense.

Nice. I'd say widen the hole rather than sanding the ball. The odds of the ball snapping off are quite high.

This figure does have a huge amount of the play dough feel to it, you really need to mash it together just right to get it to fit properly. You can get the windshield to work properly but that's a lot of work and squishing. As for the final question, I don't even know if I need the Run About recolor. This is a good figure but not enough to make me say I want other no name versions of it. A good figure for Earthrise is like a Middling figure for another line.

@@PerspectiveEnd aha, fair enought. I asked about RECOLORS since in TF devastion the genericons where Runabout/Muck molds with vizors and mouthplates. And seeing how Hazbro likes to recolor/reuse molds as much as they can this could work as nice seleckt exclusives (at least considoring how they do this things, Spinout, Bugbite and 2G Megatron are good exampuls of easy RECOLORS)

I mean that's just a movie thing in general, nothing goes any logical place with them, and it's not really a worry in the films, just on the figures.

The only times in the movies where you didn't directly see the real vehicle part move directly to where it is on robot mode is when the designs barely had any to begin with and even then the attention to detail on each transformation ensured that you wouldn't be able to notice the trickery. Shatter, though, that shit is front and center and god damn insulting. The part literally goes exactly where it should be, and then is covered up by a barely different looking fake part for literally no reason, RIGHT IN FRONT OF YOUR FACE. Literally, faux parts are bad enough on a figure but they at least have to be physical objects, that was a clump of CGI purposefully made to piss us off.

@@NexusProductions-rz1sv What are you talking about that's one of the core things I despise about the designs. Optimus from movie 1 and onward, is a Robot, that has pieces of a car Randomly stapled to him. There's no logical rout any of the parts took to reach their destination. I know there are figures where they had to make it work, but there was just no care put into the designs.

@@PerspectiveEnd Except... there was. Prime's windows, grill, and a section of the engine cover went into the torso. The sides of the truck and majority of the hood formed the arms. The sides of the sleeper cab and rear fenders formed armor plating on the back, and the underneath chasis forms the legs. It's all pretty obvious in how it works, and accurate figures of the transformatiom have been coming out since ROTF since they didn't have to be based on concept art. And it's sure a hell of a lot clearer than BB Prime. His robot mode has the rear wheels and windows and that's literally it. There's fucking headlights in his shoulders that don't match the headlights of the truck and the chest has a sun visor that the truck mode doesn't have. And despite the time eclipsing from it's debut to now as first movie to the ROTF toyline the most accurate anyone can do all turn into the wrong truck and just about none of the actual vehicle forms the bot mode as rather all those parts are tucked away or flipped inside out to hide them rather than properly incorporate. Meanwhile the most accurate 2007 design figure literally has no faux parts and no inside out panel fakeouts. And that is why BB Prime feels like such a downgrade.

@@NexusProductions-rz1sv He is not cleaner than Bumblebee Prime, that's what I like about that Design, is how clean it is. It doesn't look like he has random BS strapped to him. Bumblebee prime is a Massive upgrade. He has the correct head, he never takes off his damn mask so we don't see his awful monster face, and he has sleek lines and heroic proportions.

I'd love to see a custom proving I'm not crazy.

Maybe to the first part, but for the second part I think even among the people who feel that way there's a strong contingent of people who don't like faux parts.

I don't think any of his modes look cool, I don't think his weaponizing is good, and of course he's obviously going to have a bad transformation, so there's nothing he does that I think is worth it.

Technically, but thrust is also a slight retool of an existing figure, and an exclusive that most people won't be able to get, so I stand by my points.

Here's the thing about Fasttrack, I think his robot mode is ugly, I think his altmode is uglier, and I don't care for any of the Weaponizing he does, so he's just got nothing going for him.

He's ugly, his altmode is stupid, and his partsforming is worse. His head looks like something off a McDonald's toy, and I can't think of one good thing about the figure.

I got mine on Amazon. And yeah I had to special order every last Wave three figure I wanted cause the only one I've ever seen in stores was Fasttrack.

About half or more of my collection is in altmode, as for the transformation, you can do it but it's a Pain. He's got a lot of the playdough quality, you just got to mash the back of the car into the front of the car cause if you don't the pegs arent close enough and they will pop out.

I'm fine with not getting him, I don't know that I NEED more versions of this mold.

That's what I'm saying, they had no excuse for Cliffjumper to be the way he was, when this was in the pipes already.

Maybe i can make it a cliffjumper when I learn how to paint and switch the heads

It'd be a pretty solidly accurate representation of the character without the one major flaw that a lot of people despise. Those of us who don't like partsforming doing just kind of dislike it, we Loathe it.
