What I think happened was megatron naturally called dibs on fighting prime, then scorponok figured he could take him, so he tried, and megatron took offense to it

Man, among all these Titan class Transformers coming out recently, Fortress Maximus really got the short end of the stick mold-wise. Poor guy is basically the only that heavily uses remolded parts

Probably did intend to shoot Scorponok, as during Rebirth Zarak tried to upsurp Galvatron and then by the Headmasters anime he took full control when Galvatron kicked the bucket.

In the G1 American Cartoon, Scorponok came at the tail end of the series. Galvatron merely tolerated Zarak, because he had the key to the plasma energy chamber. Megatron might not have an alliance with Zarak and thus him and the Decepticons fighting would make sense.

The notches in the palm of his hands, at the base of his fingers, have a purpose. The fins on the handle of Shockwaves gun mode fit perfectly into the slots, enabling Scorponok to wield him very securely. I wish I could share pics with you!

The hwadmaster’s name for Scorponok is Zarak. We first heard of him in the season 4 rebirth trilogy mini series, but was more famously known in the Japanese G1 exclusive series The Headmasters.

One of Scorponok's advantages is that his claws are bigger than the hands of other Titan figures and better designed to grab things.

Just ordered mine literally 20min before this vid..cant wait ..to get this bad boy. -Edit as of july 31 10am my order was canceled due to wrong address..I had till 3:30 today to get it fixed..pre sale was over and sold out..finally at 2pm I got my confirmation..I even preordered Fasttracks so happy that came through..

Mine came in yesterday and I love it. The hip joint ratchets on mine are pretty tight but the shoulder ratchets are pretty loose. If I try to raise the arms in front, the weight of his giant hands makes them fall. Probably why he doesn't have a gun.
