Thank you Michael for sharing your intelligent knowledge of renewable resources, Iam grateful!! I will be using a lot of your creative ideas with the build of my Tiny home here in Puerto Rico very soon. I've visited your Earthship houses in Aguada a few times, that you & your Team built after Hurricane Maria, Very Cool!!!✌🙏🌞♥️

Septic tanks need to be pumped out eventually. I don't think that this system could be pumped out if it's filled with tires.
@peaceandlove544 Жыл бұрын
It's in rural area, no need to pump out it will filter through the soil.

Could you use your this septic tank as a methane gas source and power your car or cooking appliances with?
@theroyalcapra2 жыл бұрын
Yes. But it requires a lot more engineering than what you see here. You could find some good videos on methane gas use here on youtube

Where is the output? What kind of roof? How long should this last tor one adult male? Where's part 2?

I did some calculating and a 5.5x5.5 ft hole would require 20x20 45mil pond liner, and that's about $450-$500! I think about 8 sheets of 20x20 6 mill visqueen would be cheaper.

I dug a hole for one just 4 miles away, near 2 Peaks. Selling the land so I never finished it.

What size EPDM liner should I buy for this? What about adding gravel? Is this not the way anymore? I was concerned about gravel piercing the EPDM rubber.

Keep saving the world Michael! I'm about to take my whole family off grid because of the work you've done we have a way that is not so daunting.
