I did this with a needle but on the opening part of the can and it blew up 😂

I just crack it open the smallest bit, let it release and poor, works everytime.

what is the issue with using the draft can normally?

basically, if you have a device that causes a surge, you won't get a good pour if you pour a can that has an activated widget in it, because the widget activation counteracts your surge. by removing the gas from the can, you essentially pour a flat guinness into a glass before it surges, then when it surges, it has similar effects to what happens when guinness goes through a draught system. it's a close as you can get to having a draught pour in your house from a normal can. i use the Fizzics device.

That looked like a disaster waiting to happen haha. But I really have to say, the art and font choice, as well as the color scheme of a Guinness really go excellently well with that particular wood. The noble harp, the heroic brass and ebony color scheme. Beautiful. Hell, even the wooden Handle on that poker adds to this visual experience. Thanks for sharing

I've yet to get a regular widget can to work in the surger. Surger cans have worked fine though, so I know it's not my "surger". :-(

@@Yourballix your talking shite. Hence why there's a million and one videos of people using regular cans. Have had regular with gas let out and surger, both surged and the regular is just as nice at least, while costing less than half.

Pour a nitro surge 558 ml can with a nitrosurge unit, then use this method on a normal draught can. Drink them side by side, the draught tastes like shit. There is something a little off about this method compared to a 558 mL nitrosurge can.
