Love this video. For me, instructions in other people's videos can be confusing, hard to see when they backstitch, or how they are putting the pieces together and being a beginner, I do not feel I can attempt the project. Your video was perfect. You explained everything, you zoomed in on what you were sewing (so I know when to backstitch), you showed every angle of the step so I know what pieces go together and what it should look like. Your video does not make me feel overwhelmed as a beginner and makes me feel confident I can do this project. Not only that, but you showed us variations to this pattern which I appreciate. You've done a remarkable job at this video. Thank you for taking time to make this video and sharing it with us. 🥰

I watch and take notes at the same time as to material size, etc. , then I watch video again and check notes along the way. That way I have cards with instructions so I can have it to make more pouches. Keep cards in alphabetized box like I do with recipes. Very handy and organized.

Ack. I literally just spent the past 2 evenings making this exact pouch (I did finish by boxing the corners), but I wish I saw your video first. I used French seams, but your lined finish is so much more elegant without the stiff edges 😢

This video is fantastic and answered many questions I had. And some that I didn’t know I should be asking. Thank you! Newbie question: why do you sew a 3/8” SA and then trim away half rather than using a 3/16” (or 1/4”) SA and then trimming only the corners?

To make this from fabric I placed wrong sides together with fabric spray glue and made it just like the vinyl one, also if you add the seam allowances to the finished size mentioned you can figure out the size to cut the fabric or vinyl.
