It seems from open no guard to open #O guard is smoother than open no guard to open #1 guard then using #0 guard open just under.

Thank you so much. By any chance do you have a tutorial on fading without .5 and 1.5 guards? I'm new to this and I'm really having a hard time fading. I made a huge mistake in buying a Ceenwes clipper, it didn't have .5 and 1.5 guards, and all the tutorials I watched have those guards. Again, thank you.
