This is step by step installation guide for a Lowrance elite FS9 with an active 3-1 transducer on my Hobie Pro Angler 14 kayak.
All additional items for the install were purchased from Hunter Water Sports (HWS) in Belmont NSW

BerleyPro Mast mount for FPV lithium battery
FPV-POWER Pigtail + Pigtail cap
RAM heavy duty 1.5” ball ram mount with rectangular base
RAM mount with 1.5” H-Rail ball

I use A1 sensitivity change to suite conditions Colouring 76% Also for charts Select charts More options Charts options Genesis layer gives u 1 foot depth contours

What did you do with the yellow wire on the lowrance power cable?

I ran the power cable from inside the centre hatch to the front hatch and the battery is mounted on the pole in the front hatch.

@@TheFinesseAngler thank you for replying, but I am not sure that you understood my question. I was specifically asking what you did with the yellow wire that is part of the power cable for the unit. That cable has a red, black and yellow wire, so I didn’t know what to do with the yellow wire.

@zmoorern My power cable only came with a black and a red wire that ran to a fuse and then to a FPV pigtail. I don’t recall a yellow wire, however I bought the unit second hand and already had the fuse connected. Do you own the same unit?
