I am definitely not the 1st Person to make a video about this, I just figured I would because I've had people asking me to and if it helps at least 1 person, I'm happy. For this method, I would highly recommend not being a two way player. Choose either a position player or a pitcher, stick with one loadout, and focus on that. Sometimes progress does not track. To fix that add your CAP to your DD team, if they are already there, remove and add them back, go into a play vs CPU game in DD and then play 1 inning or at bat depending on if you are a pitcher or hitter, and then quit, and then your progress should start tracking. I use the hawk which is contact, then power, then fielding and the diamond is godly my power is in the 90’s with like 115 each contact because of gear

I really hate that the game relies so heavily on your character overall rating I've played 3 seasons in AAA had ridiculous stats every season led in HRs, RBIs for the last 2 seasons went to camp twice for the Oakland As but still got sent back to AAA even though during spring training I led in all hitting stats.

You can also use created stadiums in RTTS and still have stats track.. I got a stadium 275 down the lines with 1 ft walls and highest altitude for extra base hits probably will sim away games now and then get extra base hits at home

Here’s a method on the stuck progression. For your position/hitter player. Activate your player. Then go to DD & play a single player game vs cpu. Play as the away team & bat your guy as lead off. Bunt, strike out or get a hit (doesn’t matter) just finish the AB. Then go back into RTTS & your progression will start tracking. FOR PITCHERS...activate your pitcher. Go to DD. & start him as the pitcher. (U have to sub out your position player) face one batter then quit & go into RTTS & your progression will track for your pitcher archetype

I upped my sliders all the way and I still get progression as a 2way player doing DD method. I'm at diamond right now as slugger going like 4 for 5 every game and 89 overall. Might try this method on a pitcher though to get badge better on my current 2way

I've tried this for the past while and I'm pretty sure it doesn't work anymore

Also if your rtts isn't working, just reopen Dimond dynasty or restart the game, usually just needs 1 try for me

I know how to upgrade my player. The problem is the changes I see in my loadout screen doesn't show up on my diamond dynasty created player's card. On my loadout i'm an overall 76 but in diamond dynasty my guy is still overall 65 and sucks??

If you want to be a catcher u have to look at the preferred positions. If it doesn’t have catcher then u can’t play catcher

The progression fix does work for pitchers

Especially if they knew about it on day 1

Just got called up to the MLB and man in getting overmatched when I'm batting even with gold archtypes I'm batting like .267 with 1 HR in like 7 games .. pitching I'm doing much better I'm 2-0 with a 1.08 ERA

Why I Keep Going Up Down From 65 Back To 63 Overall

On Xbox yesterday, I couldn't get any of my games to count for the perks and I'm not sure why.

Any and all stat's accrued while simming don't count for me... only the ones i actually do.... as a pitcher I should mention

For some reason it only lets me use my player as a catcher with secondary position and my player has 97 fielding but drops every other ball and jumps up into a throwing position after every pitch and it’s really annoying. When’s the update for the game coming out cuz I can’t deal with this anymore

I'm an Xbox noob and actually bought this game, not just used on gamepass even though that is great, because I love baseball and have heard such good things about it for years. I will say I absolutely suck at this game and hitting has been so hard for me especially for diamond dynasty team affinity and missions and stuff. That however isn't my complaint my biggest complaint is I have a job and kids and wanted this game for road to the show. I literally play my player on every sports game as I can watch it grow and can do it casually in my own time. The road to show, my player, in this game is probably the worst of all sports games I have ever played and that's saying a lot. In seeing posts apparently they changed it for the worst this year but just sad because I will probably stop playing it because I am too bad to play online, and don't have time or probably ability to get better, and the single player is just bad offline

I'm just not going to play this game until they update it. I personally like mlb the show 20 better anyway. And this lack of tracking my stats is such a pain in the ass along with this overly complicated level up system... if I play well I should get better in whatever respective role I perform well in. Simple as that. This shit is extra for no reason and I feel it's just a gimmick to make people wanna play Diamond Dynasty..ill pass. Mlb the show 20 is just fine for now. If they update and change a few things then maybe this game will be worth it. But probably not.
