I found that by applying Goo Gone to Plastic Dip and then using a pressure washer its the easiest and fastest way to remove it. Thanks for viewing and please LIKE this video if it was helpful. Thanks

Just used this stuff on every well coated black plasti dip with glossifier on top.....no chips, no peeling...Was thinking...nightmare job......left the wheels on ...plastic stuffed internally to cover rotors etc......sprayed...15 plus later, another spray....waited...rubbed, nothing...then by accident, got an inner edge of the rim...40 minutes later...What plasti dip ?...it literally peeled off every wheel....That stuff is serious, non stinky, no yucky residue....gone...sponge bathed the wheels getting sudsy stuff into rotor areas....job done.....`1 hour 15 minutes....Goo Gone Automotive,....really does the job

Glad there's something cheaper than DYC Dip Dissolver. I bought a truck that was completely Plasti Dipped with what looks like only 1 layer (If that in some places) and it's dry, flaky, and stuck bad. I'm thinking since it's so thin it should be a fairly quick job, thanks!

Should you just add way more if it has way more layers

@@goldeng3541 It’s been on there for a while even before I bought it so it’s like baked on and I want to get down to the paint to see it’s condition, I’m not redipping it.

@@goldeng3541 Unless you’re just asking about getting rid of dip in general. In that case, yes you’ll probably need more depending on how thick your dip is.

Nice video man. Everyone else tries way too hard with all sorts of products. Little due diligence and some elbow grease.

goo gone says not to use on rubber- any issues with it getting on the tires?
@layzievloggs68793 жыл бұрын
Yeah that is why it's good for plasti dip because it melts the rubber but no I have not had any problem with my tires.

Will this work on the car wo damaging the paint?
@layzievloggs68793 жыл бұрын
I would be careful using it if it had any type of rust. If it's just sticker residue u should be fine

what was the PSI of your power washer? i'm going to rent one from Home Depot and wanted to know what you had
@layzievloggs68793 жыл бұрын
I bought the AR Blue clean ar390ss power washer and has a max PSI of 2000
@secretAZNman_3 жыл бұрын
@@layzievloggs6879 you think a power washer with 1400 psi will be okay?
@layzievloggs68793 жыл бұрын
@@secretAZNman_ I would try to stick to a power washer around 2000 psi. If it's less than 2k you're going to have a lot of trouble removing it specially if it's a thick layer of plasti dip

Dont get it on your brakes or rotors just take the wheels off and pressure wash it cause last time i did that my brakes were not grabbing and slipping 🚫 but it works

If you wait 5 or 10 mins ,i washed it off with a battery pressure washer of 600psi... very easy.
@CompOstang509 ай бұрын
Let it sit for about 20 min and it comes off waaaaay easier.

Sorry brother but it didn't work on my car. I wound up using nail polish remover (100 % acetone) and it was way faster than everything else I've seen on KZfaq.
