what hardness softness for the brush?

For some reason it is now working on mine. I alt click on the image but it makes no difference on the shine.

i was thinking about REAL shine! that shine close to burned highlits! an ugly shine, inestetic shine, not a wonderful, natural, pleasing, shine like in this already perfect image...
