All my life I have wanted to collaborate with Qawaali artists, given the raw energy of the music filled with zestful mystic and sufi spirituality. I was fortunate enough to have this wish come true during my recent trip to Karachi.
It was an amazing experience performing Taraana (Raag Darbari) fusion with the talented Qawwal Ali Brothers group!!!
Every time I collaborate with new artists/musicians from different genres, I gain, I learn and I grow; a feeling of being reborn sets in. By meeting many talented musicians during this visit, I felt as though it is my Saalgira 🎂(Birthday) every day (poetically speaking). Thank you Qawal Ali Brothers!!! 😀💪🎹🎙🎶🎵🎼
