This was so great! You are exactly what we needed to replace our glides in 35 y.o. cabinets with cabinet faces. We've had the glides for four years, installed one incorrectly and stopped right then and there. With your help, we were able to complete the job today! Great video KZfaq star :) You can run a pencil line down the drawer side with a combination square and mount track to drawer on the line. Really simple and works well. Good to see you working on a jobsite

Good tips, thank you. Just one thing I'd be careful of, drilling for those handles with no protection on the worktop underneath, could be an expensive slip!

First of all thank you for this video. Great work! I’m an Australian and being 75 I grew up using, what we call, Imperial measurements like you but Australia changed to Metric around 1974 and it is sooo much easier. You use dollars and cents but you have kept this, much harder, system for measurement. Why?

I have watched maybe ten videos of mounting slides, all different. Can't say I completely grasped the subject yet. I understand using spacers, but if you have multiple cabinets, different drawer sizes, adds up to a lot of spacers. Also, you seem to prefer to put slides right at the bottom, the others yet recommend installing them in the lower third area, a bit higher. Again, 10 videos, 10 approaches.

Plenty of ways to skin a cat as they say! Don’t really think you can go wrong where you put the slides. I just wouldn’t put them near the top of the drawer 👍🏻
