Nobody more royal than Angie in Eastenders, Queen of the square and the VIc, the amazing Anita Dobson. The soap was never the same after she left

@@missolesoul 🤮🤮🤮, I forgot about the age, age 16, he would have been in serious trouble, I can’t believe Eastenders was controversial than the other soaps, no wonder Eastenders was popular and hits home for everyone, I still like Eastenders, but some of the storylines in some of the years were sh*t, Gray Attkins storyline was good, Little Mo, Denise and two evil men, Love triangle of Sharon, Phill and Grant and more,

She was too plain and posh to be mistress with any competition against Angie. Jan has far too much of the Prim and Proper Auntie/Mother vibe. If they wanted someone to be a good mistress for Dirty Den, they should've gotten somebody who was more glamorous on a level of Dynasty's Joan Collins, Stephanie Beacham, or Kate O'Mara. Somebody like that would not only be on the Posh side, but also give Angie a run for her money in the looks department! Joan Collins and Kate O'Mara particularly had the Wicked Stepmother/Disney Villainess vibe on them!

Jan really doesn't really work as a mistress type character. But she does do a fair job as a woman who's remorseful about having an affair with a married man.

Wiksy and Lofty having a natter in bed. Real good mates. Si is a very good soul. He would have gone to bat for England in the war. As would have Lofty. It was right of Lou to give Si that medal, even though it turns out that biologically he is not her grandson.

An obsessive housewife - yeah have come across that myself and I think Pauline is one Lofty. Pauline was terrible to Michelle. No sympathy at all just annoyance that her house isn't ordered. She could have found out who the father was. Absolutely hopeless and terribly selfish.

How irritating was Pauline and dot !!! Den saying OUT, they goes out? He says Hurry up and they go hurry up.. he says changed his mind, nd they go, changed your mind.. like bloody parrots in the pub . Sorry but Anita Dobson was terrible.. wooden acting, like she was reading paragraphs from a book. Never liked her style. She acts likes shes in a comedy too
