Tbf max actually had a point. They were meant to be his friends and family, they even knew he was innocent and still let him spend the rest of his life in jail for nothing. I don't care what anyone says Max had every right to put them on his list and Jane brought being in that wheelchair on herself

Max was right, in what he said here All the residents, knew he was innocent. But they did fuck all to help him, they'd of happily let him spent years in prison.

I loved these episodes. He is a brilliant actor and did a great job at doing these scenes.

Imo 2017 is where maxes story reached its climax, from when he first arrived on the square, it feels like his whole story had been leading him to this moment, going insane and breaking down over his past and all thats happened, Max Brannings character transformation is probably the best in soap, from wanting to be a family man to a complete lunatic

It was a more dark and Max branning then you ever seen in EastEnders this was a brilliant storyline it's like Max's revenge on everyone Phil Jane Ian everyone Max branning was a broken person born prison must have changed him into a more dangerous nasty person in the world the story of Amazon fantastic fantastic Jake wood wood would Steve McFarlane Adam woodyatt this was an amazing stuff I'm going to say this brings in a more dangerous nasty version of Max we never seen

Max seems to have forgotten that he knew his niece Alice was arrested for a murder she didn't commit, but was happy for her to go down for years if it meant Janine would withdraw her accusation that Stacey killed Archie. He always was a hypocrite

You can't blame max for what he's saying, he was getting sent to prison for a murder he didn't do and his own daughter lauren knew he didn't do it but kept her mouth shut, that's worse than any dagger to the heart, his own kids know he's innocent and yet did nothing, if your family doesn't have your back, no one has, I'd love to see him come back into eastenders someday, he was a really good character

Max looks like a British Lex Luthor (in 2017)

I still remember this storyline and how I felt bad for Max. He had every right. He was abused by his father (Jim) when he was young. And then this happens. Though Max repeatedly cheated on Tanya and hate him for that but his life is honestly so pitiful. He suffered from a young age. And then he got put into prison for 20 odd years and none of his family apart from carol tried to help him and get him out despite knowing the truth esp his own daughter. Only person who stayed by his side was Stacey.

I used to feel sorry for Max with how they let him go down. His own daughters and brother. Then just watched the scene where he gaslighted Tanya after lying and cheating again and tried to stop her leaving him by encouraging Abi to stay with him. She'd had enough of his cheating. Thought he'd been through so much with Jim but that didn't excuse how he treated his wives and children. He was so selfish. Jim was quite a cruel man and possibly still racist because when Billy died and Carol was angry with him he never apologised

He was prepared to hit Lauren and called Abi an up the duff slag and to have an abortion after she for some silly reason (approval, validation, affection) tried to fight his corner a bit. I used to be just like her.

Right two things one why couldn’t max have said this in the vic in front of everyone probably making them think and two it put me in mind of an episode of life on mars where gene hunt was framed for murder and he said something on the lines of this “how can you think that am capable of being a fricking bastard murderer”

So you make Jack lose the love of his life his wife Ronnie because he spiked Roxy drink with drugs that’s how Amy lost her mum Matthew lost his mum and Ricky lost his aunty all because of their selfish uncle
