Here is our pizza dough recipe:
(makes 3 large pizzas, we doubled the recipe to make 6 pizzas)
Ingredients:
* 275mls warm water
*10g dried yeast
* 1 tablespoon olive oil (any oil is fine)
* 2 teaspoons honey
* 2 1/2 cups of plain flour (also known as all purpose flour/ bakers flour)
* 1 teaspoon salt
Method:
- sprinkle yeast into water, add honey and oil and whisk with a fork.
- combine flour and salt in a large bowl, make a well in the centre
- pour water mixture into the well and mix with a wooden spoon until the mixture comes together
- knead on a floured surface for 10 minutes
- brush bowl with oil, put dough in bowl and brush the top of dough with oil
- cover with plastic wrap and a tea towel
- leave in a warm place for approx. 1 hour (should double in size)
role out and add your favourite sauces and toppings
- bake at 220 degrees Celsius for approx 15 mins or until cooked
