@@miamagik Thank Constantine the Great for being triumphant over the pagans at The Milvian Bridge. Also the Vatican did not "pillage" and acquire their wealth. Though through the empire in ancient times since war, trade and labor was how you filled some portion of the treasury. Not to mention how many civil wars, inflation, countless barbarian invasions etc. The vatican holds some of the greatest works of art in Humankind and hence they require funds for the maintenance of those priceless art pieces. So before you go on a rant about the Vatican, please read up on its history and purpose.

@@websurfer5772 pretty sure Mary Magdalene wasn’t Celtic. Mary Magdalene simply means Mary of Magdala, with Magdala being a town near the Sea of Galilee. Mary most likely was a Galilean jew, Mary being a rendition of the Hebrew name Miriam, who was the sister of Moses.

@@gamer7916 “Later when the Catholics could not get rid of the Celtic Goddess Brigit, the bride, her history was rewritten by the church. She was turned into a Christian saint named Bridget, and nunneries were set up in her name. Worship of her became mixed with worship of both Mary the Mother and Mary Magdalene, since both women had spent time in Britain among the Druids. Bridget, the bride, became known as the Queen of Heaven, mother of my sovereign, prophetess of Christ, and mother of Jesus. Like the two Marys, Bridget was both a bride and a mother.” Excerpt From: "Return of the Divine Sophia: Healing the Earth through the Lost Wisdom Teachings of Jesus, Isis, and Mary Magdalene" by Tricia McCannon.

It often promotes evil and unbelief unknowingly as deception hence why many are hypocrites and terrible because it doesn’t truly teach the bible fully and how the holy spirit is supposed to work in your life through the word. They don't understand that the Easter many do w eggs etc is pagan actually showing worship to a false God .not realizing it Messianic Judaism is what I'm studying. It's better than "christian ". It's the real deal. The word " christian came from Constantine I'm learning the history of how the bible changed in the 1800s for the Catholic church and why we have too many fake churches. That encourage some paganism wo the flocks understanding what their really doing.

This was such an amzing video Mia! It's giving such queen vibes!💖💅 You really inspire me and definitely make me feel less alone. As someone in the "broom closet" listening to another witch say the things that I believe and know to be true means so much. I absolutely love learing about ancient traditions and religions and its fascinating how connected and similar they all are. I was raised Catholic, then when I moved to the US I went to a Baptist high school. And honestly I was left totally confused. They constantly tried to drill into our minds that if we don't "believe enough" we would burn in hell for eternity. And if we didn't worship God "enough" or truly love God more than our own family, God would send us to hell because he is a "just and righteous father". I always felt a deep rooted connection to nature and God, the universe itself ever since I was a kid. I would make little flower offerings outside in nature, feel the energy from the trees and ground and talk to the animals. I always felt connected to God but not the "God" I was being told to fear and worship "or else". I feel like God is like the energy of love, and is all around us in nature and within us. We were tought that "God is love" but there is no fear in love. But anyway! Again I really appreciate how well thought out and educational your videos are. I learn something new every time I tune in!☺️💖

I agree! I have been taught that belief in the church and it’s doctrine is the most important thing and if we don’t believe in Jesus Christ we are wrong and that we are practicing “the things of this world” and we are sinning. But the more I’ve opened myself up to witchcraft I know deep in my heart that this is truth. And that God is okay with it. He is okay with us exploring our spiritual path, and we aren’t being “unfaithful” when we do so.

Thank you for sharing your light! I grew up a Christian, but the older I don't ONLY claim to be a Christian but I believe in everything. So I think I claim more to be Spiritual. I'm teaching my kids the "Christian" meaning of Easter and the Spring, rebirth, new life of Easter. They go hand and hand with the new life just as you were describing! I've always feared going to church and learning to "fear" God, obey or you go to Hell kind of thing. At almost every church I have been to the people are the most judgmental, unwelcoming, and closed minded people I have met. This to me is not God's way. Nature is my church. God made that, not people. And I completely agree about God being everything! Thank you for all that you have done and continue to do. Love you sister.

Mia, I just found your channel yesterday. I grew up in a very oppressive + abusive Christian household, and felt so robbed of my spirituality for so many years. Easter has always been particularly difficult + triggers many dark memories for me. This, and many other of your videos, that I’ve completely binged in the past 24 hours, have truly reached a very far away part of myself I’ve felt so alienated from for so long. My birthday is February 1, and grew up having my birthday as well marred by the Catholic celebrations of Brigid and damnation of Imbolic etc - my father even went so far as to say I was a witch (with negative context) growing up, due to my date of birth. I used dread my birthday each year - now I feel such power and connection and realignment with my soul, understanding Imbolic more. I have too many things to say, as a fellow Air sign, so I’ll leave it with - Thank you, so much. Perhaps I am a witch after all. ❤

The Vatican sits on the oldest pagan worship center some say 10000 years or so and it's called The Temple of Jupiter or The Temple of the Pregnant mother...Rome was a major cosmopolitan center or worship which honored the Oracles at that time and wealth would pour into the city as a show of gratitude and to help them win wars and so forth...the success of Rome was contingent on the state of the Oracles and honoring them...they were the Intermediaries between the gods...and like all things the money changers overthru Paganis/matriarchy and the worship of the goddess and that was the downfall of Rome itself and everything began to fall into ruin from them on...Checkout the book Mami Wata by Mama Zogbe...very enlightening how she breaks down the over through of the Sybil priestesshood

My understanding was that Constantine had a very profound spiritual experience and converted to Christianity thus declaring it the only legal religious practice. He then forced pagans to practice Christianity and adapted their customs and Holy Days, Christianizimg them. I broke free from the Evangelical Christian Church a few years ago. These holidays I once celebrated as a Christian have taken on a whole new meaning. Still have so much to learn.

I have an 11 year old and we have started incorporating more pagan traditions over the last 3-4 years of her life, especially around the holidays Our ostara tradition starts with the reading of the goddess ostara saving the frozen bird and turning him into a rabbit so he could hop around, and that’s why the bunny lays us colored eggs on ostara, the bird lives within him, though he is reborn. And he leaves the eggs as a thanks to the goddess and a reminder of our rebirth at this time of the year. And then we do an egg hunt! This year the squirrels chewed through a few eggs and took themselves an ostara offering of Reese cups 🥴

This was super helpful. I grew up in super strict Christian house hold. And never understood the bunny's or the eggs and a Jesus (or zombie Jesus as I call him this time of year). But the talking of rebirth of earth really connects me. And it's so interesting how yet again just like yule. The church came to try to silence the pagans. I know ostara was over a week ago. But I have plans to make a spring wreath. The wreath to me is symbol of the earth. And when we decorate it we are honoring the time of the year. I'm sure it might a little silly. But I really enjoy honoring the seasons, it just feel like it's important. It one of the ways that keeps us connected to mother earth.

Thank you for sharing this. I always enjoy watching and sharing "A Easter Story Told by Maynard James Keenan", to remind myself of how the old ways are reflected in our lives. In this way, we find the universal in the temporal; a primal truth.

Ah, thank you so much for putting this out there!! I knew some of this history, but there was so much I didn't know and it all makes sense now! I grew up in an Evangelical home and have been on a journey of discovery for the last year - coming home to my Celtic, Druidic roots and awakening my magic. You're whole presence out there is so inspiring to me!! I, too, am curious to know more about Mary Magdalene. I have been researching her for a book I'm writing, actually - hoping to make some connection between her and the Celtic gods and goddesses because my gut tells me there is one. So when you mentioned theories that she was Celtic my ears perked up! Can you share more about that in another video? 🙏❤‍🔥🌹

Easter actually comes from the goddess named *Eostre* - which is where Ostara & Easter come from. It took place on March 21st. “A West Germanic goddess of the spring season. (paganism) A pagan festival celebrated either in March or April to welcome the Spring, also called Ostara or Easter.” I truly appreciate these videos you make. They’re full of knowledge & loving energy.

@@brainfluidZ Well no. You're wrong. "It's location in that year, unlike that of the nativity, was fixed by scripture, for it had to be in spring, around the time of the Jewish passover, when the trial and crucifixion of Christ took place." - Hutton, R. (1996). The Stations of the Sun. United Kingdom: Oxford University Press. P. 179-197 Eosturmonath simply meant “the month of opening,” which is comparable to the meaning of “April” in Latin. The names of both the Saxon and Latin months (which are calendrically similar) were related to spring, the season when the buds open. History clearly destroys your pseudohistory. Now go and repent of your sins in this Holy Week of our Lord Christ...

Like didn’t God give us all of it? Jesus and nature, healers, energy, magic... I mean the only thing that would make something bad would be Ill intention. Chickens stop laying eggs during the winter bc they are not getting enough light. Eggs would return in early spring with the light. Maybe that is why they are part of the season. Celebrating the return of the eggs. The hiding of the eggs would be the chickens Starting to lay again. they would be a joy to discover in the yard!

@Tzimiskes3506

@@miamagik Well no. The cross served as the device for a form of torture/punishment by crucifixion for the Romans. Kind of like the Romans saying: "this is what happens when you try something stupid against us" The beauty of Christianity is that Christ took a symbol of punishment and turned into a sign of hope...
@mistylawrence6944
@mistylawrence6944 Жыл бұрын
@@Tzimiskes3506 Actually the Christian's and catholics took it from the Egyptian ankh... Mia is right.... do some research on the Egyptian ankh and look at the cross... but the part of the cross being a torture device, you are right about because the Christian church and catholic church turned it into something it wasn't meant to be used for. And they used the cross to kill Jesus because he was speaking out against the Roman catholic church and Jesus's followers that if they continued to follow Jesus(hesus) they would end up the same way. But they don't add that to the bible.....instead they lied and turned it around to benefit them to attract more followers to the church. No one can die for our sins...Our sin is our own, our responsibility as adults to have accountability for....giving them to someone else doesn't solve anything.... it's like saying " Oh i can keep doing wrong or bad things and go to the church and ask them to forgive me.... No it doesn't work that way......It keeps us from doing better and not doing those bad or wrong things

I love you and all your information. I don't mean anything negative by this just information. Chickens actually naturally stop laying eggs in the coldest darkest parts of the winter. It has more to do with the daylight hours they get than what they're fed. It's when the days start to warm and daylight hours get longer that the hen's start laying in abundance. The egg is a literal representation of the abundance of Spring... the resurrection of life out of the darkness. Blessings. I hope this information is well received
