Easter Sunday is a forthcoming American comedy film directed by Jay Chandrasekhar and written by Ken Cheng and Kate Angelo based on Cheng's story. Jo Koy plays a struggling actor, comedian, and single father who attends an Easter Sunday gathering of his loud and dysfunctional Filipino American family. Tia Carrere, Brandon Wardell, Eva Noblezada, Lydia Gaston, Asif Ali, Rodney To, Eugene Cordero, Chandrasekhar, Tiffany Haddish, and Lou Diamond Phillips also appear in the film.
Universal Pictures will release the film on August 5, 2022.
