Out of all of those characters only Shirley, Billy, Honey, Denise, Jane, Max, Patrick, Tracy & Ben (different actor) are still in the show - actually surprising number of them after 10 years.

Rita Simons and Samantha Womack were both proffesional singers before eastenders. Rita was in a band and Sam was in eurovision. but it was still good but i preferd the 2009 one :) xx
