Damn! I never thought I'd see this day coming. are used to work for Eastern Airlines in Atlanta from 87 until they shut down in 91. Best job I ever had.

Exoress Delivers It’s not the same people. The Airline was destroyed years ago. Not the SAME management or employees. Not one of us was called back. Just the name was purchased not the carrier. How can you be glad to welcome back these ASSHOLES when they destroyed and disrupted so many lives. You should be more sensitive to the EASTERN background and History!💩💩

@@gregderrick5831 I've heard Frank screwed Eastern Airlines from videos in past I've seen on KZfaq. I remember when the Eastern Airlines employees went on strike before shutting down, I was living in Clearwater, Florida at the time & when I went to the airport to watch planes I saw them striking on the roadside at Tampa International Airport when I was driving towards the airport. After Eastern Airlines shut down I went to Eastern Airlines airside gate area when empty with the airline name still at each gate. I wish I had my camera that day. I still have flight schedules from original Eastern Airlines. Sad what happened to all of you & if I was hired I would be in the same boat at the time.

One of my parents used to fly on eastern. *Said family member even flew on one the eastern airlines boeing 727 jets!* I have a skymarks model of an eastern airlines boeing 727-200. *God bless them bringing back an icon*

Eastern airlines was common here in the Bahamas in the 80s. Bahamas air dominated the Nassau to Miami route after the fall of this airline giant. Welcome back Eastern airlines ✈️🛫

Uh sorry to bust your bubble but Eastern Airlines ceased operations in September 7, 2017 . The 737's that were painted in the Eastern Airlines livery have been kept their colors but that's it.

But Dynamic Airways after exiting bankruptcy rebranded themselves as Eastern Airlines, LLC so the brand still lives on with them.

Eastern was really big out of Puerto Rico to Fl, NY, NJ and DC. Flew out of San Juan when I was a kid up until 1989.

When I was flying Delta as a kid out of Atlanta, I always dreamed of being in the what I thought was the better looking Eastern. Think they were 727's. I finally got to fly with them and was a great day and it was awesome.

VERY clever putting the watermark at the same position, size, as the logo that appears with the graphic identifying who is speaking. I like little production things like that.

Happy is not making a come back! It dredges up way to many bad memories of how they treated us employees. You and others will never feel the pain of being escorted off the field by armed police! I still do. And the pain of losing a livelihood due to such evil business leaders!😡

I worked for Eastern for a short while after the strike. Sorry to say it wasn't the best experience of my life. I am happy to see the ole Hockey Stick paint scheme again. Wish them all the luck. So, now we need a new, National, TWA, Pan Am.

Great to see Eastern come back. We need more choices. Bring back Pan Am, TWA and Northwest and it's all good. More competition = better service. I wonder if Eastern will ever get it's hub status back in Atlanta since Delta has most of the gates there.

It was not labor troubles that brought Eastern down. It was Frank Lorenzo that stoled it and destroyed it. He should be in jail for what he did to a great airline. The people of Eastern deserved better.

These Axe-Holes are opening up old sores! Eastern Management, and Frank Lorenzo destroyed Eastern. I worked for the real Eastern from 1994 till chapter 7. I was never a scab and struck with the real employees. Eastern hired twice the replacements (SCAB AXE-HOLES) and still couldn't get the airline out on time. NO, I'm not pleased to see them back. Let my once proud airline die in peace! No good will come of resurrecting the dead..

Will this be the return of the prestige and luxury of flying? Perhaps the last of the prestige airlines may come back as well. I quit flying shortly after Pan Am disappeared. Today's airlines are nothing short of flying livestock trucks. They are uncomfortable, smelly, hot, cramped, ugly, and very expensive. We are basically paying lots of money to be treated like cattle. It was then I decided to take my trusty automobile everywhere, a much more comfortable bus, or a train, and quit flying. Commercial Flight is the worse way to get around now. It used to be the best. Maybe Eastern may revive some of the comfort and prestige.
