The building of the eastern baths of Kali-Yunus (Kali-Zhunus) was built at the end of the 19th century. The medieval baths of Taraz and other cities of Central Asia were taken as a model. The bathhouse was built by the residents of the city of Aulie-Ata. The construction was sponsored by an eminent citizen, in whose honor the baths were named. The date of construction was determined by the coins found here.
