I think I won't do that ever. Holy hell. That looks excruciating. But thank you for sharing. Appreciation for the art!

Is straight cuticle only crucial for hair colouring? Can the rest of the hair be in the opposite direction with cuticle from end to root? As for losing the length, would tying them individually (strand by strand) help with what you are suggesting (to retain as much length as possible).

Umm how do you finish the ends? Like I still don’t understand how the ends are tied off. 😣

Why does the direction have to be from root to tip?

Do the strands need to be in the correct direction? That is from root to end? And what are the chances of the knotted hair strands sliding across the thread with wear and exposure to elements and washing? Is this technique shed-proof?
@easternhair
@easternhair 3 жыл бұрын
yes absolutely, any hair unit that you make must have the hair strands to be aligned from root to bottom in correct direction, if you make knots as smaller and as tighter as possible, they be like cement hard, no sliding, no sheeding, and you can re wash your unit as much as you like, feel freet o lighten or color them also, however please note nothing is forever, every unit has its expiration time )

I want to do this because the hair I'm storing for memory, 20 inch long, the hair strands are coming out from the knots. I had sectioned my hair into several knots and cut them. But it seems the hair strands loosen by themselves or the band is loosening. However, I'm afraid that the thread used in this method will deteriorate. Can I use a couple of hair strands instead to form a strong base for the knotting? I won't be using the hair for anything. Simply storing it. Hope it will last a very Long time.

@@easternhair Thanks for the reply. I would like to know if this type of weft is resistant?
@easternhair
@easternhair 2 жыл бұрын
@@LorenaLorena-bd9wn if you mean if the knots do hold the hair strong enough, and no hairs fall out of knots, this is is extremely well holding the hair, I dont see a need of glue on the tracks, most times on machine wefts I do add a couple layers of glue, but on hand tied there is no need for glue, the knots are pretty secure, ..

@@easternhair Do they stay well after washing? if I want to create a 35 g piece of hair 10cm (width) 60cm (length) is thick? as it is more appropriate, the weft made on the machine or hand tied? thanks again

@@LorenaLorena-bd9wn yes, you can wash them, bleach them, color them, even style them, all absolutely works wells
