Brother, the vast majority of Somalis do not speak Arabic. Most will understand the common phrases that most non-Arab Muslims will understand.

I was in Nairobi and visited Eastleigh a few times. It is developing fast but nothing is being done about the roads, sewer system, etc to keep up with all the development.
@mustafafarah9083Ай бұрын
The roads and the sewage is the responsibility for the government and the official should be reprimanded for neglecting to fix these problems.

Government is neglecting its duty. They only collect taxes and do nothing in return.

It’s a Somali area so the govt will not improve it.

Somalian people speak Somali, second language is MayMay and third is Chimini(a dialect of Kiswahili) spoken in Indian Ocean side towns, those who speak Arabic are individuals who have lived in an Arab country or went to an Arabic speaking school, but nowhere in Somalia is Arab speaking. That man who ran away from you only knew hi and bye in Arabic, thats what most Somalis know.
@abdinasirmohamed2238Ай бұрын
Get your facts right. What do you mean by Somali language and Maymay?! It's like saying Swahili and Sanifu😂 Maaymaay is a Somali dialet & not a separate language of it's own. Just like the way Swahili has to major dialects (Sanifu and Mufti) so is somalia categorized into two main dialects namely; Maxaa tiri & MaayMaay. On the issue of Chimini/Barawa/Barava. It's not a 2nd language but a 1st language for it's natives on the coastal town of Barawa. In short, Somali is the 1st language followed by Arabic as the official 2nd language. Even though it seems English is unofficially taking it's position slowly by slowly.
@FF-by6ciАй бұрын
@@abdinasirmohamed2238 Where in Somalia is Arabic spoken in? Which city , which tribe/people? You won't find any Arabic cities or people, MayMay is a language because a native Somali speaker won't understand it. I am from Barawa so I'm aware that chimini is the first language there. Again, who are these Somalis who speak Arabic? lol I speak Arabic because I lived in Saudi like many Somalis who grew up there, so Arabic just like English can be learned by anyone, but nowhere in Somalia is Arabic spoken not even a small village, so try again.
@ninaaden8338Ай бұрын
@@FF-by6ciyou are right. Af Mai Mai is a different language, but I would see how it would have been the predecessor of the Somali language.
@ninaaden8338Ай бұрын

This tour didn't do service to the real Eastleigh business center ---just a teaser from outside streets...the real deal is in the malls and inside wholesalers. Streets is for small scale hawkers

Tell your brothers to return the money they stole from the US Federal programs. Especially the over $250 million they stole in Minnesota in 2020, that was supposed to feed children during covid. Part of that money was wired to Kenya and it's buying properties and luxury items. I hope the FBI catches those Somalis who stole the money and are hiding in Kenya.
