Be thankful to 16point Agreement. What do you think ..where does those expensive cars huge houses owned enjoy by our naga ministers and UG leaders comes from?? Obviously Nagaland doesn't produce anything by its own..all these money comes from all hard working Indians toiling day and night from all sections of Indian economy and abroad contributing in the form of taxes to GOI.Nagaland State enjoy these taxpayers money..In short, we are living hand to mouth by the grace of India.

There is no way we are getting our sovereignty, flag and seperate Constitution and say no 'Neo Imperialism' and 'Military Junta'.

If the negotiations are in nagas interests, then we should not unnecessarily interfere but rather support the talks. Listening and entertaining every voice will lead to indecision and confusion among the nagas. Our number one priority has always been 'the right to self determination'. This goal should be accorded the required importance while determining our future course of action. Everyone knows Jamir has been a puppet and tool of the Indian Govt. He has been given lucrative positions under the GOI. He has no concern for naga's right of self determination.

If he is talking in India's favour then tell him to express clearly that Nagas will never get independent as long as he (Shri. SC Jamir himself) live. If he is talking in favour of Naga then tell him to talk like a Naga not as Indian. If he don't want Nagas nation to be born then tell him to bring Indian armed forces just the way they did in the past. You are right Sir. We are with you in this. Why would we liberate ourselves from india and live under another communist. This is not going to happen anytime soon. Instead, i would love to live under India and get the privileges instead of living under communist leaders.

The main thing regarding the solution is how can a particular faction say they are fighting for us or representing us when the general public dont even know what they are demanding? They shouldnt use the name 'Nagaland' next time they go for negotiation because they dont represent the whole Nagas except for their own political faction. The GOI should be clear on this because the Nagas in general wont just be a sitting duck if any demand go against the public.

Can i ask a simple question? Will Nagalim be able to survive after it's formation as a nation state. I mean there are certain conditions right for a territory to be a nation state. And honestly it seems that the idea of sovereign is a bit funny. I would like to hear the reasons for why and how nagas would be able to secede India and form a sovereign nation.

Mr. Jamir should know that NSCN IM is not fighting only for Nagaland but for the whole Nagas from MANIPUR, Assam, Arunachal, Myanmar Nagas as well. For the whole Nagas rights, why talking about only Nagaland Nagas. NSCN IM are broadminded unlike NNPGs talking only for Nagaland. Mr. Jamir never fight for Nagas, he is always served and work under government of India till his retirement. And after retirement also still talking for government of India. Mr. Jamir as a chief minister for long-term in Nagaland state and as a governor in other states, because of his leadership one of the region why Nagas are still struggling.

I believe it was in all good conscience, all the agreements including16 point agreement was signed to bring an end to all the atrocities done to our people. But the fact that our NNC leaders were left out from this talk, made it a very controversial agreement and which eventually fellout. There's always two side of a coin, and I believe if our elders and leaders can reveal the situation that prevailed during the time of signing the agreement without diluting facts, the young generation will be able to make decisions rationally. It is necessary to see which party benefitted the most from an agreement, for I believe the blood that was shed for cause of our people were betrayed. I am in support of our elders who selflessly contributed for our cause. I am not in favour of any party of these generation, nor do I endorse any party in any manner. My grandfather was a member of FGN, i know why he joined FGN and how my family endured. The young generation must not drown in the comfort they enjoy today, but rather be mindful of how we Nagas came into being and how our predecessors suffered to create our today. Irrespective of whether we support any group or not, we must know the facts and then make choices.
