WOOOOOOW , you are going to need more totes . That’s an awesome machine Mike . Very happy for you that you got it . I’ve got to buy a vehicle so no new splitter for me . Allison looked comfortable operating it . That extension table you built is nice also . Looks like I am going to have to take a couple extra days in April to help out in the KNL wood yard !!!! 👍🏻🪵

I went to charity event at a place called H.O.P.E. with Out side with Scheib - Firedwood at the furnace - York firewood and a few other guys I had my dyna processor there you really can't tell the power of the Eastonmade Machines till you are standing right there they are a beast

Hello Mike! 24D👏🏻 This will be interesting to get your point of view on horizontal splitting after owning and running the AXIS. You sure put some challenging rounds thru that box wedge. Twisted maple and stringy Hackberry were a good test! Great table extension too! 👍🏻👍🏻

Look at sharpening the knives of the wedge. Eastonmade ships the splitters wedge with blunt edges.

Great video I noticed you keep the blue Tag I’ve had my 22-28 for 3 years or so and still have the blue tag on mine in a mini pearl kinda ways❤️👍

Pretty nice splitter there Mike. It'll eat some big rounds it seems. Looks like it could keep a couple guys busy as well. You seemed to handle it well yourself though. Look forward to seeing more on it.

Hey Rod! Thanks! You could almost feel her excitement couldn’t you 🤣🤣. I ran it for about 5 minutes and then built that make-shift table. It’s 4 - 2x4 legs fastened to a pallet with the side of an IBC bladder screwed to it. Nice slick top. Easier to sort out the chaff from the firewood. Thanks for watching! Can’t wait for you to run it either!

Curious, why the 24D instead of the 22-28 or 37D? Looking forward to the "why I got this splitter" video! Nice straight grain through it and it will fly through the wood!

@@KNLFirewood yes sir that’s what I originally ordered but after Andrew’s 1/3 of a cord challenge with the 24d I had to have one. I tried to convince MrsTC that I had to have one also but she wasn’t having it. I guess it’ll give me something to work towards. Hopefully I’ll get a chance to run yours at HFH.

My only concern with the diesel Eastonmade machines is that on a still day, with little or no breeze, how annoying is the diesel exhaust? I currently have a 22-28 and am considering ordering a 37D.

I’ve only used it a few hours on a really calm day and the exhaust was zero issue for me.

Mike the price off diesel be go up 🔝 again in Canada 🇨🇦. You burn 🔥 up 🔝 reservoir in Fort max . In 2025 come out with a CAT diesel on them . 😊

Hello Jean! That is called a box wedge. They make a 5-way, the standard 7-way, and a 7-way pizza wedge. This one is the standard 7-way.
