I just ran my brand new Eastonmade Ultra for 17 hours over two days and split a 15 full cord load of wood. It worked great. I can now split three times as fast as I used to with my old (glacier speed) splitter.

Nice. My dad used to tell me that our truck stacked level full held 3/5 of a cord. That set up is smart. I like it.

Just got my Ultra a few days ago. I am splitting wood at least 3 to 4 times faster than my 27 ton countyline. I feel like I'm stacking more than splitting now because I am just making piles of wood!

A couple of questions. The weight of this machine is 800 lbs as per what it says on your site. Is that dry weight, or with 20 gallons of hydraulic fluid in it? Options: Can you get a hydraulic log lift with it, or can it be engineered into it? You can easily put a attachable stabilizer system on it, what with having hitch receivers front and back. Simple 2" square tube with a drop down, height adjustable leg would work. Reason I'm asking about weight is because I live in hilly country up here in Muskoka, and only have an atv haul it up these grades. And the log lift.... well. Wet oak is heavy lol Thanks!

Solid machine very impressed with it. I would tho like to see the push block 2 times bigger. Your machines is the best of the best and keep up the good work.

The wood my customers desire have to be half that size again but still, that would be faster than my present Glacier model. Just wish I could get one without waiting a year on production!!!

I'm a home owner, split wood for our personal use, and owned a "big-box store 30 ton" splitter...been using it for about the last ten years. This year I purchased an Ultra at the Paul Bunyan Wood Show in Ohio. First I liked the way the Ultra towed the 160 miles home, I like the way it sits up high (takes the strain off my back), it cycles fast...in fact I had to adjust the way I do things because my old splitter was just so slow, and it has lots of power. I was wondering about how much power it would have because it is not one of Eastonmade's "power units" and the cylinder looks a bit small as compared to their larger splitters. However, after using it for a couple of months I feel it has plenty of power...more than my old splitter.

What a great decision to put one of these on Joe's Premium firewood. Lotta exposure.

I like this little splitter! You got all the finer details right as far as working height. Might replace my cheap box store splitter with this. Is it hooked up to the hitch or not to get that proper alignment?

That's exactly how I split firewood into a long bed HD2500 for over 25 years. JUST HAVE TO ORDER THAT SPLITTER but never part with the old speeco....

There's a firewood ministry in southeast TN which provides free firewood for some needy folk, they sure could use such a splitter

Will you guys be building a cheaper version then the ultra in 2020. I like the setup however, there are tons of good splitters on the market for less then 1/2 of the ultra.

Just wondering why the small pusher plate on the ultra? I also watch the in the Woodward channel and I see you sent him a bigger plate and for the speed of this machine that seems like a much better way to go.

8' beds are rare and desireable. The auto return would have been great and you really need a guard for the rare rear window.

Quick cycle time, highway tires, reversible hitch... What'll really empty the wallet tho is that flat table log catcher. Guy didn't bend over to pick up splits even once!

Hell Andrew, George here again , Just watched you use the ultra, That is how i will be using it hooked to my truck splitting wood and putting it on the truck , I will not be moving as fast as you did The machines I looked at from Canadian tire, Costco have the wedge on the piston , i do not like that at all and the wheels are to small , there is no room to stand to run the machine, The wood i split will be green of the stump onto the back of the truck

I think it need a bigger push plate and I noticed it does not have the auto cycle guess you can say iam a little spoiled

Last time i bought a face cord it went into the back of a 6.5 bed and was nowhere near that full, bunch of rip off artists here in my area.

as a firewood supply guy i can tell you most those peieces were not salable wood they need to be splite again folks!
