The fishing strat from the Dancer is the unsung hero of this run (as opposed to the sung hero, who very much still deserves to be sung)

This series made me purchase this game! I was looking for something to do on my phone other than Instagram or throwing it at the floor to see how it bounces and this game fit that role perfectly. I extra love the fact that it doesn't seem to have adds showing in-game or was constantly trying to force me to buy it. It also seems very light so that it is not draining my battery as much. Thank you!

The almanac explains how cleanse works now. It reduces harmful effects by N. So shield 2 cleanse can completely remove 2 poison, but if you have 5 poison there will be 3 left.

This game has been pretty amazing. I played a custom party for some of the achievements and found an infinite mana combo that could be reliably done on turn 1 lol discovered there was an achievement for OTKing the final boss. I love games that can be challenging but absolutely embraces letting you do some wacky breaking stuff.

@@casperalph the core was weaver that has the mana doubler, and the wizard with the spell that lets you reuse a die for like 4 mana but in increases in cost by 1 each use. To smooth things over I had a chronos that could also double a die, has the reroll to help rng, and then another blue person idr what class but has mana cantrip and a reroll die. Used an item on the last person to swap die locations and then another item that gives +2 to the far right sides. So they had a +3, reroll die and a +3 mana cantrip die. I basically just kept rerolling for the mana doubler, sometimes taking the double die from cronus to smooth things over, and then whatever mana sources I could get from everyone else. Idr what the critical break point was, but id very frequently have like 12+ mana after the first double. Then it was just repeat exponentially until you hit the max mana cap(some amount of 9s, I didnt count it out too busy laughing) and then cast as many spells as Id like to obliterate everything.

The funny things this run can be "the broken statue run" because all the item the reto could get, but the scrapper is really carrying this whole run xD

The cleanse only removes the number of poison equal to the number on that die. It works the same for healing and shield. It works preemptively if they would be poisoned that turn as well as after they have been poisoned.

I am very excited for 2.0 to actually come out. Custom party is a very fun mode, I went through the 1.0 starting with 5 of each type of basic unit. It was a blast (pretty challenging for some of them, though. Shortcut mode is pretty fun too. Keep up the great work, Reto! :⁠-⁠D

Best one I had was the character with steel on 2 shields, the egg item that saves shield turn to turn, and the shield bash Double shield each turn until bash procs and one shot any enemy- poison was the only counter I ran into

I played a game just now and got 2 items (death wish on right 2 spots & echo on right 2 spots) My lev 3 hero rolled heal 10. Echoed it to armorer. Then I apply the +10 dmg to Trapper's vulnerability = +11 dmg for every single dmg you made. That means every vine spell which costs 1 mana can do 12 dmg. If death wish gets triggered, that will be additional 21 dmg per hit.

I think that spell only cleansed 1 of the two incoming poison because cleanse functions off of pip values? (That's why shield 2, cleanse cleanses 2 poison)

10 heal is more useful in the custom mode i find where you are stacking 5 healers and your max HP just flies up. Atleast thats what ive discovered so far. The only challenge on hard difficulty (I got virtually none of the nightmare difficulty achievements) in 1.0 I didn't get was winning all 5 same class custom mode runs, specifically 5 defenders was the one I couldn't solve. (I had wins for 5 healers, 5 mages, 5 rogues, and 5 fighters)

wish i could get this game on pc, i bought it on mobile and beta 2.0 version doesnt work on my phone, cant "restore purchase" sadly so im stuck with 1.0.5 version on mobile =(

U can get it on pc. Check description it's not on steam it's on another site but it's not complicated u just open the zip file and u can just click on the executable and it puts u right at the main menu :)
