That is such a simple and beautiful journal! I absolutely LOVE it!! Thank you for showing is how to do it!! Lilacs are my favorite flower. When I was a kid, we planted lilacs across the whole lot line of our back yard with spiraria along the side lot lines, it was soo beautiful! Every time I see or smell lilacs it brings me back to my childhood home. Thank you again for sharing it with us!❤😂❤

Love the colors in this little album! But I really like the simplicity of the construction. I've not made but one or two of them because they were a little bit overwhelming. No one needs to ink edges. It does hide the white edges of the paper if one doesn't want to see that. It also adds to a grungy or vintage look if that's what the crafter is after.

I sometimes ink and sometimes don't. Lenae had asked us to identify what she WASN'T doing that she normally does. That's why I made that comment. Both methods are beautiful!

I've never really been that much 9f a Fan of 6×6 Paper Pads; I've just always gone for the 12x+12 Papers. After seeing all the Fabulous Projects you've created using the smaller 6x6 Papers, I think I need to start looking at those Darling 6x6 Papers! It'd definitely cut down on any waiste & just maybe the containers & boxes of Scraps could be used as Pockets, Embellishments & pretty things to add to my Albums or Journals using 6x6s! Beautiful Album LeNae!!!

It's a cute cost effective journal, good for craft fair. The one thing I would do differently , put glue between the holes on the binding. That way the binding would stay together when pages are turned.

Hi LeNae, purple is my favorite color and I love lilacs, growing up in Ohio we had them all around the house. I have tried to grow them many times in Phoenix and never succeeded.
