Hey,
better late than never right? lol Alhamdulilah I have finally posted the easy batwing abaya tutorial. This is the quickest and easiest way to make an abaya (in my opinion). I have filmed and edited this video more than twice and I was going to re-film it, but then I told myself to just stop overanalyzing it and upload it, so here we are. I hope this video is easy to follow and if you have any specific questions, shoot em down below and I will get back to them asap. Again, jst want to remind you guys that I am not a seamstress, so I am doing what I think is best. If you know of an easier way to go about this, leave it in the comment section and I'll try your steps out for the next time I make an abaya inshAllah.

That extra couple of inches that you fold and sew is called seam allowance 😊

Just don’t cut down the middle! I tried to make one and I messed up the neck so bad 😂😂 but I also used a stretch ribbed knit and I’ve never used stretchy fabric before 😅 good luck!
