I recently learned how to make a bowl using 40 playing cards. I made 2 and then thought maybe another project would be good to learn. I love this little playing pocket idea! I think I will make a bunch of these for books and happy mail from the leftover cards. Now I just need some more ideas for the 102 decks of cards I have left 😊 Thanks for sharing your time and talents with us!

I think these are the neatest altered cards I’ve seen. I like that you preserved the card but it’s muted by the paint/gesso. The tabs are great and, yeah, glued to the back of the card is a great way to keep the novelty of an altered card! I’m not sure I would have thought about the stripe direction of the tab v the faux envelope. Great call! Also, I sent you an email today. Thank you, again! ❤ PS thanks for telling us about the difference and similarity of paint v gesso. That’s good to know!

I immediately had to order stamp scissors for stamp edges. I can’t find mine. You make me wish I had more time and a neighbor like you next door. I would bother you all the time. What brand are your long black paper scissors also? Where do you buy your wide colored lace? I don’t have a store near me that offers much of a variety. I am sorry I have so many questions. LOL

My scissors are Tim Holts brand and I get my lace from a Local shop or you can order from Amazon. 💐🥰
