WET BUZZ-ICE DUO! Follow this simple routine to kick-start your BG3 Honour Mode. You'll wield two shovels (one of a quasit kind that will scare and surprise your enemies), create awesome synergy for Wizard and Cleric, have a smooth beginning with the Spellsparkler staff (you can get it super early without any sweat after rescuing Counsellor Florrick from the burning inn of Waukeen's Rest).

Your first mistake is taking warlock after wizard because any gear related spells and any scrolls cast will now scale off your charisma stat. The second mistake you made was learning the quasit spell instead of just casting it and talking to shovel. Doing it this way will give you the spell on your hot bar instead of having to prepare it. It is then free to cast out of combat.

Hello there! I know it's hard sometimes to follow someone's journey to understand the logic behind the build for 1-3 levels. Everything you wrote is correct if we pretend that respec doesn't exist. It's easier to judge than to be curious about how other people play videogames. This build is for a smooth start of HM for a Duo run (levels 1-4). The only charisma based ability I can possibly use is Eldritch blast which I rarely use out of particular need. The rest was learned off of a wizard class and the damage checks will be based on intelligence, not charisma. Therefore there's no mistake, and this build is strong enough to clear 2 Owlbears on lvl 3. Preparing a quazit spell is not much of a work. Calling it a mistake is a bit dramatic considering that we're talking about a game that people play for fun. But you do you, though. Have fun playing your way! :)
