this banana cake recipe is a keeper
• BEST BANANA STEAMED PU...
ito po siya kapag steam, same recipe pero walang coffee powder.
pan used: 7×3 loaf pan - 3 pcs.
baking time: 180°C for 40-45 minutes bottom and lower heat settings.
ingredients
butter milk substitute-1 cup milk + 1 tbsp. vinegar = 16.00
500 grams banana with peelings- 15.00
4 pcs. medium size eggs= 24.00
1 and 1/2 cup sugar= 14.00
3/4 cup oil = 6.00
1 tsp. iodized salt= 0.10
1 tsp. baking soda= 0.10
1 tsp. calumet baking powder- 1.00
1 cup buttermilk sub.
3 cup all purpose flour = 12.60
1 tbsp. coffee powder = 7.00

64.80 = cost of ingredients for the cake batter
optional
2 tbsp. butter or margarine
toppings of your choice
different nuts, sugar, galzed fruits, raisin etc.

Hello! Of all the recipes available in KZfaq, I followed yours because you indicated the costing and the idea of buttermilk substitute by putting vinegar in the milk intrigues me. Ang tagal ko nang napanood to pero ngayon ko lang nagawa.. Thank you Ms. Cristine sa soft, yummy and easy banana cake.. walang umay, addictive! Yung tipong busog ka na pero gusto mo pa rin kumain.. wala ako available na nuts kaya choco chips lang toppings ko.. Thank you and God bless!!!

I made a banana cake following your recipe. Wala akong instant coffee so I omitted that for the time being. It turned out really good! This recipe is for keeps. Btw, Tama ka na the more hinog na yun banana it gives out a natural sweetness. From now on, wala nang masasayang na saging sa bahay ko :) thank you very much.

Ang dami ko ng na bake na luto mo Tin pero di ko pa na try tong banana bread mo kc im good in making banana bread at marami din akong ibat ibang recipe ng banana bread. Di ko akalain na ang ganda ng moisture nito. This is my favorite recipe of banana bread now. Thanks!! Love from New Zealand.😘

Hi I just made this today and it's very delicious!! nakalimutan ko pala lagyan ng coffee but it still tasted good! hindi pa napapalamig nangalahati na po agad yung isang pan hehe! 😜 I just lessened the sugar and added cashew nuts into the mixture para may crunch. it's fluffy ang sarap po!! 😍😍😍

All your recipe miss Kristine ay na follow ko but selected din ang aking nagagawa. Its because im on a diet time in cholesterol and sugar. Pag nag bake ako like this banana cake i less the sugar.

I just made this today and it turns out nice and delicious, its just too sweet but still good, i just have to lessen the sugar a little bit next time. I also used yogurt and olive oil as replacement for buttermilk and coconut oil and still nice! I topped it with crash almonds instead of cashew nuts and it turns out so crunchy! Thanks for this wonderful recipe. ❤️
