It came out perfectly! She is so in love with this style as am I. I had her wear this style for hours while jumping and playing with her brother and it stayed in tact. This gorgeous look has saved her pageant day.

This is so perfect, I can’t make my silky straight hair hold curls to save my life but desperately want that side swept dramatic curly look for an upcoming formal event. This is a wonderful alternative to just curls.

Hey.... LITTLE OLD STYLIST TRICK FROM THE 60s atleast. When I was in cosmetology school 1 of my instructors was the leader in set styling. Rollers, perm rods or whatever to finger waves. She worked in film with movie sets, costumes etc. Anyhow, since I moved, after graduating in the 80s, I dont know what ever happened to her... but no matter, I haven't seen anyone besides me that does the little trick.. ... Do you ever find those hair pins pull out when you want them to stay in? You like the loose looking hold vs the other type of hair pin that holds tightly? As long as the person wearing the style is made aware so they don't tangle them... Take 1 side of the pin and bend it in half. Not nightl but well just bend it . Its actually designed to fold. When you go to insert it hair, it will grab hair as it comes out. Because of the Fold, if she doesn't know of it, can get it tangled but if she remembers, then easy to fold straight to untangle or pull out before it did tangle. . Try it .you will see what I mean.

I *love* the way this looks and I think I could actually do this one! My only concern is how to undo it all later.

I liked it a bit when it was double braids. When you flipped them together I was like "ok this is good for a wedding or something but I don't have to have such a mess on my head". The end was awful. No structure, no more looking like a braid or a ponytail or anything else. Just a rag messed up by dogs. I can't tell if it was a braid, if her hair is curly, if it was pancaked or something else. It. Doesn't. Have. A. Structure. Sorry but there should be a limit on how much you can mess a hairstyle.
