Nice job CB! I recently got a new-to-me boat with a Volvo Penta 4.3. Even though you are winterizing the MerCruiser, the process is essentially the same for mine. I've reviewed all of your yearly winterizing videos and they all have real good information. I like your Chapparal too! Mine's a Larson.

You're videos are very helpful. I'm not a fan of Stabil. It can be hard on fuel jets and injectors. I'm a big fan of Startron. I've had that stuff keep fuel good for two years. Not only does it keep moisture out of your fuel but it also absorbs the ethanol in the fuel. I don't know about you but non-e is too expensive to run in a boat so I run premium plus Startron year round. You can't over dose with the stuff either. During the boating season I use as directed. When I get ready to winterize I at least double up on Startron a trip or two before. Come spring time my boat fires right up, even after engine fogging.

Hello from the deep South! I just purchased my first boat with a Mercruiser. As you must know, there is little good content on Mercruiser maintenance (you videos are certainly the most infomative I've seen). Would you consider demonstrating how to pull a drive, check the gimble, and check alignment?

Is there any way you could do a video about your boat trailer. I assume it has surge brakes. I grew up with boats but none of them had brakes on the trailers, which now I know is a bit weird. I know little about the surge break system, if I am using correctly, can I back up without doing something, and so on. If you could do a video on what you know about your boat trailer that would be awesome. I just bought a 2003 chaparral 183s 4.3 merc with a eagle trailer.
