In this Slay the Spire gameplay, Baalorlord does an Ascension 20 run with Ironclad. First, he gives tips on choosing a path and a starting bonus. Later on, he explains his decision for each card he chooses and why it's important to the build. Towards the end, he gears up for an epic Heart fight you don't want to miss. I use a few mods for Slay the Spire. All of them are Quality-of-Life improvements and do not have any effect on the gameplay. Here are all of the mods I have active:
Slay the Relics Exporter, used for the live stream: steamcommunity...
Relic Stats, to keep track of how many times the relic effects happened: steamcommunity...
UI Sliders, to reposition the Discard and Exhaust piles, so that they are not hidden behind the camera: steamcommunity...
Run History Plus, giving us more info in the Run Summary screen about the run: steamcommunity...
Map Marks, for path highlighting - here, typically, Green means an easy, intended path, and Orange or Red means a harder path that I might take if I get good rewards: github.com/cas...
Even though I do not use it, I recommend Minty Spire for people looking for various Quality-of-Life improvements: steamcommunity...

That was maybe the most dumb fun I've seen in Spire. The fact that basically every card reward had an instant right answer, because the game handed you the perfect deck is amazing.

He is playing one of the 3 linear decks that can always take dome without issue because they will mostly play the same cards regardless of enemy intentions. (big bonk Ironclad, barricade slam Ironclad, pure power defect) Not saying his dome play isn't impressive, but I believe he once did a boss swap dome run which is far more impressive.

Holy what are the odds, earlier this morning I had a very similiar run, 9 Perfected strike ( 8 upgraded ) , 2 pummel, 4 strikes also got the morello + marbles for turn 1 vulnerable kills, had bottled, had icrecream. took 2 normalities for 999 gold, finished with 1254 gold + lizard tail avaialble somehow lol

I usually much prefer playing lots of low-cost cards, because playing more cards is satisfying to me, and I don't like playing very few high-cost cards because the opposite happens. However, I don't think I've ever seen a run as satisfying as this one. I think I need to reevaluate my definition of "satisfying"...

Why not remove defends instead of strikes? Defends are slightly better, but the boost to perfected strike is easily worth it
