THANK YOU! Beat it with your build after trying 3 other ones, including Optinoob's! I used the Genji Gloves on Aerith, and tweaked the materia where everyone had Chakra and two charas had Revive, because they came in clutch sometimes. For those interested, on Tifa I replaced Precision Defense with Chakra. On Aerith I replaced Lightning and Wind with Revive, and the Magnify that it was linked to with Chakra (though Soothing Breeze on the Enemy Skill puts in work, so technically you could keep Lightning and Wind--but Blizzaga worked fine on those enemies. Though I reckon you could also do Healing and Magnify there instead.). On Yuffie I replaced Speed Up with Revive, and the Magic Focus that was on Time with Chakra (this freezes the Gigaworm less, but even though it ended up eating Yuffie I got her back by destroying it with magic since Arcane Ward was down). Hope this helps anyone else who doesn't like flying by the seat of their pants, haha! And again, thank you so much for the build and guide! I had spent 2 days on this cheap, stupid fight bc of Rounds 8 and 9! What's worse is when you exit and Chadley goes "endless replayability is the simulator's blahblahblah", when I'm on attempt number two dozen! Is that cheeky trolling...or just cognitive dissonance?! 🙃

With this method it was easy, just get into the rhythm in and bonking enemies with right weakness. this went smoothly. Instead of any healing materia I used Soothing Breeze when I need to heal companions and Aerith. I also with Genji gloves on Aerith. Arcane Ward on her and damn she went to town with enemies! Thanks, mate!

Class strategy, i too swapped out the precision defence for revive but other than that did exactly this and it worked first shot thank you!

This worked for me but was challenging in a few spots. Just follow the video and it will work if you have the right materia leveled up

😮‍💨 am I the only one who can't seem to get this down... I keep seeing this build, but every time I try it, I'm dead before round 3. I'm not that great at action combat, so the constant hopping back and forth is super annoying. And it gets me killed. 😮‍💨 I can make it all the way to round 9 just fine with my current build, but struggling with the dumb cacturs.

I still cant do it... That worm and death claw on round 8 is too much for me. Everything up to that point is easy but the game just says no when I get there. Seriously about to give up on this platinum even though this is one of my favorite games I've ever played
